mikegr - 21 Jul 2011 18:07

Red Emperor Resources (RMP) is an ASX and AIM listed natural resources exploration company
with interests in the frontier state of Puntland, Somalia and the Republic of
Georgia.

* In Puntland, Red Emperor holds a 20% working interest in two licences
encompassing the highly prospective Dharoor and Nugaal valleys. These two
exploration areas cover over 36,000km2. The first well in a two well
programme spudded with drilling also commenced on the second well in
January 2012 targeting 300mmbls and 375mmbbls of best estimate Prospective
Resources (100% basis). Site construction has commenced on the second well
with the setting of the 30 inch surface casing and the drilling of a 50
meter pilot hole in readiness for spudding following the completion of the
first well.

* In the Republic of Georgia, Red Emperor has a 20% working interest in
onshore blocks VIa and VIb, covering approx. 6,500km2. Joint Venture
partner Range Resources Limited (ASX: RRS | AIM: RRL) previously funded a
410km 2D seismic program with independent consultants RPS Energy
identifying 68 potential structures containing an estimated 2.045 billion
barrels of oilinplace (on a mean 100% basis) with the first (Mukhiani-1)
of two exploration wells having spudded in July in 2011. Re-interpreted
seismic supported by the Mukhiani-1 vertical seismic profiling has
identified new fault and stratigraphic trapping potential with the
possibility of a side track well to be drilled post additional seismic in

Yes you try and have reasonable dialogue with him but you can't!, he just seems to argue for the sake of it!!..

dreamcatcher - 21 Aug 2011 09:34 - 73 of 836

You can read what he makes up(sums it up) such a lovely button that squelch one.
Peace at last. lol

ptholden - 21 Aug 2011 09:40 - 74 of 836

Lol and the wonderfully unbiased grannyboy appears, another pillar of the BB community :)

DC, like just about everyone who claims to have used the squelched button you won't be able to resist having a wee peek!

Oddly enough I've been trying to help you make money rather than lose it, but I'm afraid like grannyboy, gibby and many more you can't take criticism or advice; you'd rather plod along leaving everything to chance and eventually you will disappear from am having lost every penny never to be seen again. There are many others who have done exactly the same before you. Anyway have a nice day, I have a round of golf to play:)

ptholden - 21 Aug 2011 09:43 - 75 of 836

Oh, by the way you'll find grannyboy's idea of a conversation is to hurl childish insults at anyone he disagrees with - the quality of your friends DC shows you for what you are :)

dreamcatcher - 21 Aug 2011 09:45 - 76 of 836

Go and get some fresh air ptholden, your spending to long infront of the pc. Its not making you think properly.lol

grannyboy - 21 Aug 2011 11:31 - 77 of 836

"Oddly enough I've been trying to help you make money rather than lose it", talk about arrogance pth you take the biscuit!!, it would be acceptable if you did give genuine advice but you don't, you prefer to denigrate other posters views and investments decisions, you don't accept that small companies like RMP/RRL can't hit pay dirt?, yes they're risky but also high reward!!!! Now why do you have a problem with that???...

dreamcatcher - 21 Aug 2011 19:57 - 78 of 836

Thanks to verysensiblemike on interactive investor ii, a well respected poster there.

If we get an underpin this will fly IMO
First G drill worth around 40p per share with the second still to come
Ist P well worth 120p with the second 150p (based on 300m and 375m recoverable)
A multiple of 10x the current sp by the end of the year is very possible.
The geology in Puntland is not the problem as far as the Market goes it has always
been about getting the rig on the ground.
I fully expect this to move up to 100p very quickly on a discovery in Georgia. The time frame for that is mid Sept. the whole AIM is a risk at the moment and when the markets settle down I can see the old highs being tested except IMO the will be little resistance
as a lot of folk will have already sold due to the rough Market conditions over the last few weeks.

The gas at 800m if it turns out to be commercial will be a bonus.
A100bcf find would be worth around 15p a share providing some
underpinning. More importantly a gas find would add weight to the
rest of the drilling campaign. My guess is the Russians found gas
on the previous drill and we have run casing to test if it is commercial
or not. Our CEO Greg Bandy has already stated this in interviews.
A gas discovery is just the beginning

dc -
Georgia spud 14th July
news 28th July and 12th Aug
Should be more news towards the end of the week.
The news of gas would be a very good sp booster.

DC, I won't reply to grannyboy's posts directly, mainly because I sussed him out a while ago for what he is, but to give you a clue, here's a sample from the EOG thread:

"grannyboy - 23 Mar 2011 18:51 - 464 of 652
As usual ptholden your mistaken in everything you have posted, you are just an obnoxious lowlife with an headfull of pigshit you moron!!!!!! END OFF........"

Now you might be curious as to what casued that little vitriolic outburst (or maybe not) but I was rather bearish on his favourite stock of the moment, EOG, and posted a reasonable amount of research explaining exactly why I had taken that stance. Suffice to say EOG's SP has tanked, the ramper in chief, Top Analyst did a runner (having taken the extraordinary decision to remove every single one of his posts) and grannyboy, for the moment, proven utterly and completely wrong. You can probably understand now why he's put in an appearance on this thread.

As far as Red Emp is concerned, it's nothing but an exploration play and buying their shares is akin to playing roulette, although roulette odds are probably better. I have no problem with speculative stocks, what does my head in are the rampers telling all and sundry how it's a dead cert and sucking in the unwary.

Although I'm not a great fan of RRL, they do have potential, mainly because they already have oil in place to generate income (TNT). Having said that, I think Puntland is a massive risk, not just because of the security aspects but because of the enormous political instability in that region. Who's to say the agreements AOI have now will endure if oil is discovered? Not much they can do if the locals get greedy.

As far as you're concerned, I'm sure you're a very nice chap and have nothing but good intentions, but you should really be more careful about the statements you make on a public BB. If you want to post opinion as facts then expect to be challenged and try not to throw a hissy fit when you're either proven wrong or made to look foolish.

Incidentally, you did make me laugh when you accused me of spending too much time in front of a PC!

Posted by the man who posts from 0600 until midnight and beyond every day! :-)) Very funny.

grannyboy - 22 Aug 2011 19:59 - 84 of 836

ptholden, as what is generally known in the oil business, the chances of hitting any hydrocarbons is usually against finding anything, your exclamations of warning investors when some mishap occurs will obviously be in your favour, and your proclaimations of righteousness is nauseating....

grannyboy - 22 Aug 2011 20:07 - 85 of 836

I should also state particularly to the "I'm always right because I've got a very BIG ego ptholden", I don't hold shares in RMP......

gibby - 22 Aug 2011 20:25 - 86 of 836

i have to say 4 to 1 usually
on a poor drill zero
