Socrates - 26 Sep 2005 16:56 - 7273 of 24230

Hello folks, I suppose the cafe is deserted again. Market closes and everyone goes and leaves poor old Socco all on his own. Perhaps I'd better change my soap!

Bunny - Oddments are the best fish you can get, go well with chips.

Spaceman - I can't believe your project would not work, whatever it is. Strikes me there may be some Dilbert creeping in there.

optomistic - 26 Sep 2005 21:17 - 7274 of 24230

Socs you are quite correct is is quiet in here. As to oddments, never caught one but I certainly dragged some odd things into the boat at times.

Socrates - 26 Sep 2005 22:52 - 7275 of 24230

That's fishing for you!

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 08:46 - 7276 of 24230

Kippers for breakfast.

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2005 09:46 - 7277 of 24230

Kippers...hmmm lovely fish and good for you but the bones get annoying,
bit like smoked mackerel, by the time you de-bone it you've lost your
appetite!

I'll stick with the usual danish and pot of tea
:>)

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 10:37 - 7278 of 24230

Morning Bunny,
Kippers, then danish and a pot of tea ! ............please :-)

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2005 11:06 - 7279 of 24230

Goodness there's a hungry person!
;>)

Guess it's the oil stocks that are driving things up this morning, cos it
ain't any of my shares!

snoball - 27 Sep 2005 15:14 - 7280 of 24230

Any coffee and doughnuts about?

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2005 15:29 - 7281 of 24230

snoball - 27 Sep 2005 16:09 - 7282 of 24230

stockbunny - 27 Sep 2005 16:37 - 7283 of 24230

:>)

Socrates - 27 Sep 2005 16:41 - 7284 of 24230

Hello, where have all the fish gone?

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 16:42 - 7285 of 24230

Just in time to see a fluffy white tail disappearing over the hill. Bye Bunny.

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 16:44 - 7286 of 24230

Hello Socs. Not very popular these fish dishes. Asked for kippers this morning, I don't think Bunny was too impressed, said something about bones.

Socrates - 27 Sep 2005 18:48 - 7287 of 24230

Opto, you are so right, I am not big on fish and much prefer a nice piece of meat. Kippers are OK though they have to be properly smoked and not these modern dipped ones. Best kippers I ever had were bought from a kipper smoker in Whitby. Bootliful!

Spaceman - 28 Sep 2005 00:39 - 7288 of 24230

Kippers and and grilled sardines are my favorites not forgetting haddock fish fingers of course.

all go very well with some nice sliced white bread....
