Socrates - 27 Sep 2005 16:41 - 7284 of 24230

Hello, where have all the fish gone?

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 16:42 - 7285 of 24230

Just in time to see a fluffy white tail disappearing over the hill. Bye Bunny.

optomistic - 27 Sep 2005 16:44 - 7286 of 24230

Hello Socs. Not very popular these fish dishes. Asked for kippers this morning, I don't think Bunny was too impressed, said something about bones.

Socrates - 27 Sep 2005 18:48 - 7287 of 24230

Opto, you are so right, I am not big on fish and much prefer a nice piece of meat. Kippers are OK though they have to be properly smoked and not these modern dipped ones. Best kippers I ever had were bought from a kipper smoker in Whitby. Bootliful!

Spaceman - 28 Sep 2005 00:39 - 7288 of 24230

Kippers and and grilled sardines are my favorites not forgetting haddock fish fingers of course.

all go very well with some nice sliced white bread....

optomistic - 28 Sep 2005 09:51 - 7290 of 24230

Better have a danish this morning, with a large pot of tea. Any staff around?
Morning Fundy, I don't think it's a good morning this morning, too much red on my lot.

stockbunny - 28 Sep 2005 13:40 - 7291 of 24230

Got some beautiful rainbow trout with new tatties and peas, simple
but lovely served with lemon and a little melted butter on your tatties
and fresh mint on your peas.
:>)

jj50 - 28 Sep 2005 15:02 - 7292 of 24230

Mmm. may have that trout for my supper Bunny, sounds rather yummy :-)

So, how is everyone? Must be afternoon tea time and not a soul around (or should that be "sole" in this fishy place?). Shall leave out a plate of millionaire's shortbread and warm millie's cookies and see if that brings in the crowd ...

Spaceman - 28 Sep 2005 15:12 - 7293 of 24230

Hey bunny here is the crowd ! well me anyway....

Can I have poor person shortbread please? it suits my financial postion better ;-)

jj50 - 28 Sep 2005 15:17 - 7294 of 24230

Hi Spacey. Pure Scottish shortbread coming up (with an extra sugared piece
on the side for Lambykins!) :-)

We must have the same stocks!

optomistic - 28 Sep 2005 15:19 - 7295 of 24230

optomistic - 28 Sep 2005 15:59 - 7298 of 24230

They do say it can make you slightly woozy as well Spacie.

snoball - 28 Sep 2005 16:17 - 7299 of 24230

It's that smelly skunk stuff from Holland that does my head in Lambykins.
Mackeral for tea today.
On a more flippant note - how can I find out who mines Uranium?
