Frankly the sp is reacting to a strike like GKP...ridiculous....another company still with big debt and an assumption that there is huge amounts of crude at the bottom of a well that won't be tested for another 6 months....market cap now 300 million with little production and a possible dry well and another possible duster in Madagascar (not a bad name that mad-a-gas-car)....jokes aside.....way overvalued already...!.

The two companies
that have previously
made the transition
from oil exploration
minnows to members
of the FTSE 100,
Tullow Oil (TLW) and
Cairn Energy (CNE),
relied on success with
the drill bit to fuel their
precipitous growth.
Sterling which is
testing a potentially
huge prospect in Kurdistan, Northern Iraq, with its Sangaw
North well could follow in their footsteps. Success in Kurdistan
would drive the share price to several times its current level, and
in the medium to longer-term the group sees similar potential in
its acreage in Cameroon and Madagascar. SAYS SHARES MAG SEPT 24

required field - spot on.
Reality will kick in one day, this company has an awful lot to do but there is a small chance that after the sale of US assets, after a big in line strike in Kurdistan, after paying off the remaining debt, parity will be resumed.
Till then I suppose it is a penny punt but don't expect too much yet.

If they come up with nothing when the well is drilled...this will dive to less than half a penny so there is a big, big risk in investing here....and it is worth 300 million pounds as the sp stands plus debt...crazy !.

If he has no dealing charge then he can make money on .01p but those of us who have to pay a charge need to feel it will rise a lot more. BB

You are two of the same, though "poo bear" have done a bit of reading, wasting time around though you have no shares on the company.
Anyway I am not going to repeat the positive aspects of the company again, if you really want to, do the research , keep going back to old post.
Most investors are positive on the shares an in live, and that is why they put money on the shares.
Now you case is allways NEGATVITY, meaning you live is just the same with IFs.
Solution
Sort out your live first and then come back to the STOCK MARKET

touchy ehhh....yes SEY is rising but why ? ; on the back of Gulfkeystone's discovery...it still has debt and is valued at over 300 million....with little production...a correct valuation would send this back to between 2p to 3p at the most....

I think you'll find if you go back thr' the thread he correctly said this was on the 'up' as he has with many other stocks, nearly all of which do so. That speaks for itself whatever you may say.

Stop taking rubish
The shares went well well down cos of the huge debt and oil price moving lower once again.
Now the debt situation has been address after the placing and the OIL price has recovered a lot from $40 to $70.
Just look at the chart below,
most times the share price reaches those highs once again with time,
and on looking the way the trend goes is pointing to that with time
good luck with you assestment, but there is not much reason behind it.
Maybe is time to look for other shares if this one is not at your prices, do not waste time around will be my advise
