Nonsense Cynic, this looks very promising, with a massive gas deposit....

been hearing that for about the last 12 months ..... once PCI are in a position to get the stuff out of the ground, which is seemingly not the case at the moment, then you can consider throwing your hat in the air

Good RNS despite sag in market.

You do have a point about production...Afren are getting closer and closer to production levels like TLW and hence the sp rise...Petroceltic, I think have an incredible amount of gas in the ground, it will take time to bring into production, but there is tremendous upside for the sp as there are a lot of things going for this company.

there's the difference and the nub of the matter ..... PCI only THINK they have a lot of gas in the ground, whereas AFR KNOW they have lots and lots of oil .... memory also tells me that AFR's extraction is pretty easy in oilie terms

Exactly !, the upside is far more than the downside....ref 737...

an inflow of cash is pretty incidental ..... without gas + production there is nothing

One of these days there will be a review of the amount of gas in the ground and I bet that it will be at least half a trillion cubic feet....

yeah yeah yeah ..... funny how the market has yet to be convinced, and how hermana can claim that today's rns was bullish is totally beyond me .... i'm no geologist, but i read it as neutral to disappointing, as did the market

I read it as positive but oil pulled back as well as gas futures just at that moment : AFR shot up before the pullback but now recovering...think as PCI as a very good hold, wait for the rns that will come one day with the amount of gas in the ground then hang on to your hat !.

More like 'A Hard Day's Night'
Regards PCI there may well be enormous quantities of gas, but the timing for extracting it looks to be further out now.

It's a buy and hold for 6 months or so.....but this is going to go up and up in time.
