i knows a certain person will think otherwise, but a genuine question .....

why has FLYB so under-performed since the collapse of the oil price relative to EZJ and IAG?

if there is nothing apparent, then is that a reason to buy?

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2015 08:53 - 735 of 832

9 Grounded airplanes. Nothing done yet unless Ive missed it with those surplus legacy planes.

cynic - 06 Jan 2015 08:55 - 736 of 832

why are they grounded?
mechanical probs or what?
are they for sale and (currently) no buyers?

goldfinger - 06 Jan 2015 10:15 - 737 of 832

Latter. They are older planes. For sale or for lease I believe.

mitzy - 23 Jan 2015 10:28 - 738 of 832

cynic - 23 Jan 2015 10:57 - 739 of 832

are you short here?

goldfinger - 23 Jan 2015 11:52 - 742 of 832

No been too much time since they said they were leasing them clapped out rust buckets that are grounded. If they cant get that right soon they are truly are a bucket shop.

Risk/Reward isnt worth it at the moment.

cynic - 23 Jan 2015 13:12 - 743 of 832

that was why i asked if you had gone short

goldfinger - 23 Jan 2015 13:24 - 744 of 832

Steer well clear for the moment cyners if you dont want to get sizzled, not sozzled like me.

goldfinger - 23 Jan 2015 13:29 - 745 of 832

My mate sinutab is an expert on aircraft companys he used to work as CFO for ryanair.

He rates IAG with the best prospects for growth this year.

Wouldnt mind I held them then went into EZJ a couple of days back.

Sods law. Some U win some U lose.

HSBC cut to neutral from o'weight

surprised if that was all that has caused a 10% drop today

undecided whether or not to bank the **michelin-dinner's-worth profit that i've clocked up today
