I'll repeat myself...drop is way overdone now....

blackdown - 25 Apr 2012 08:17 - 740 of 1086

Clearly the market disagrees with you.

Balerboy - 25 Apr 2012 08:18 - 741 of 1086

Alzheimers.,.

Hey...it's up by a penny and a bit...

Proselenes - 25 Apr 2012 08:54 - 743 of 1086

The price is rising, it means all the muppets will not be posting on the thread today then :) LOL

Balerboy - 25 Apr 2012 09:01 - 744 of 1086

rf, been trying to find reference to next drilling. Is it fogl and a few months away??

required field - 25 Apr 2012 09:04 - 745 of 1086

Next well is Stebbing for BOR...spudding any moment now.....will be shorter to drill than previous well....then the Loligo prospect for FOGL, followed by two more wells yet to be determined...and for the last well a partner has to be found for a farmin'...might be BOR......that would send shockwaves....

Balerboy - 25 Apr 2012 09:08 - 746 of 1086

Thanks.,.

gibby - 25 Apr 2012 09:16 - 747 of 1086

seems to be settling in 80s then for now - stebbing needs to be better

Proselenes - 25 Apr 2012 10:05 - 748 of 1086

This is the description of Darwin which clearly says the potential for stacked reservoirs and deeper reservoirs below the anomaly.

I want to know what is there from 4776 meters to 4810 meters - so I await the wireline results when all wireline tests are completed.

..................The prospect is structurally robust, partly fault and dip closed. There is a strong AVO anomaly associated with the target reservoir which clearly switches off at the bounding faults and at a closing contour on the dipping surface. The total measured area for the AVO anomalies is 26 square kilometers. Potential P50 recoverable reserves estimated for the area defined by these AVO anomalies alone are 300 million barrels. However, if the accumulation extends down to the mapped closing contour then the accumulation would be significantly larger. This prospect has the added attraction of potentially deeper reservoir targets that fall within structural closure leading to the possibility of stacked reservoirs..........

cynic - 25 Apr 2012 10:20 - 749 of 1086

as always i admit ignorance and/or stupidity ..... however, though i see some bright spark has bravely assumed a 50% chance of far greater recoverable reserves, i see no mention at all of that being oil - and i'm afraid that for the foreseeable that is the only commodity of much interest

mamborico - 25 Apr 2012 10:31 - 750 of 1086

re - Alzheimers.,.

do you think some of you have got it?

The market thinks the same way

HARRYCAT - 25 Apr 2012 10:46 - 751 of 1086

Think I will leave this one alone now, having made a reasonable profit, though lost some post RNS. Will have a punt on FOGL when the action is imminent in their area.

Proselenes - 25 Apr 2012 13:48 - 752 of 1086

Afren RNS today. Rumours spreading around DESaster are interested in farming in :) LOL

.......the Nunya-1x exploration well in the Keta block offshore Ghana has encountered thick and high quality water bearing reservoirs.......

.

cynic - 25 Apr 2012 13:51 - 753 of 1086

Nunya????????
what's that got to do with BOR or DES?????????

Proselenes - 25 Apr 2012 13:51 - 754 of 1086

Whoosh, that flew over your head cynic.

Water bearing reservoirs............. now who seems to have some of them (oil to water fiasco)...........

LOL

Balerboy - 25 Apr 2012 13:53 - 755 of 1086

nothing what so ever.,.

Balerboy - 25 Apr 2012 13:56 - 756 of 1086

still got more oil than bor ever will.,.

cynic - 25 Apr 2012 13:59 - 757 of 1086

oh of course, Petronella is talking about AFR! ..... how come i didn't realise? ..... anyway, if by some chance AFR have found sweet water (pretty unlikely) that will probably prove more valuable than oil in decades to come
