Hi all
pretty new to all this. I have pumped some into Deltex - looks like a strong product with good growth. Could be a steady gainer.
Does anyone else have this, and anyone have some research on it? Someone with more experience than me!
thanks in advance.

Andysmith, I agree they ahve a very good product and are doing all the right things to establish their place in the market - UK, US and EU (China next?). Let's hope results show better than hoped for progress to give the SP a much needed lift.

Seems to be a bit of a concerted sell off going on here. Quite a few 10k, 25k and a 50k marked as sells.
Is it a few MM's shaking the tree to pick up cheap stock before anticipated good news announcement, or have loads of individual smallholders suddenly spontaneously decided to sell out?
Or is it something really serious? Can't seem to find much out.

I think that due to lack of news that mm's have marked down price and this has probably triggered alot of stop loss sells..(imho.)
We need some good news released soon... or sp will continue drift downwards.
I bought in at 28p on the back of numerous tips and planned to operate a stop loss ...however, i didn't this time.. hope it eventually comes good !

I bought sky-high too, skyhigh! I also ignored my rigourous stop-loss policy. The underlying product is just too good to miss out on, even if I have to pay for the privilege - not that I'm in love with any of my holdings, of course.
Come on Deltex, our blood needs re-oxygenating, bugger the NHS!

Sorry folks but sold out yesterday at a loss to put into something else, I am concerned at their cash position if the deals don't come through and at the fact that the sp approaching 12month low. I have left some cash free though and put Deltex on my watchlist/alert to get back in if significant news about deals comes to fruition. if I play this right I could recover my losses as fundamentally I still think this is a fantastic product waiting to breakout.

Respect, AS, see you again on the way up, I hope.
I can't see any fundamental reason for the SP to drop like it is now, when it didn't do so badly on the delayed implementation news on 5th January. So I am willing to assume MM manipulation which leads to the conclusion we are due some good news and upward momentum soonish.
As ever, in for the mdeium term - a year or so - so no hurry and haven't the skill to time the market in and out on each adverse movement. So they're stuck with me on the register, I'm afraid.

I will be back Stockdog but no pun intended, this was becoming the dog of my portfolio and didn't want to undo my progress this year if this went into free-fall, like you though, can't see why, bloody good product and saves the government dosh so why not specified?????????????
Within minutes of selling, put it straight onto my watchlist, if I get lucky, might be able to buy back for same price or less than I have sold.
Am I trading!!! Sounds like it but not really. If you hear anything good, please post on here and I'll be back in.

Many misleading trades today. I bought 50k @ 20.24p at 13:59 which showed as a sell. It was possible to buy well within the spead all day long. Sneaky feeling says this was a well timed shake before the news we've all been waiting for.
Good luck all holders.

Can't find anything, good or bad, except the SP keeps dropping - sitting on a 36% loss since I bought end of November.
Any views - should I average down or quit in disgust? Or has it been grasped by the short and curly brigade waiting for anticipated good news to make a killing?
What's the good news we've all been waiting for. I still love the premise, but today I need succour and support in my hour of need. When do we get the final results for year to 31st December?
What do the anaesthetists among us say - will the patient survive and be resuscitated well-hydrated. Or is it about to dessicate and die?

OK everyone - you've had your chance.
I've had no bad news back from my earlier post, so my original belief in these shares remains unshaken and I have just doubled my investment buying at 19.75. This nicely reduces my average price to 23.8.
Who's coming in with me?
Now sit back and wait for the finals together with great news from the NHS contracts. Off for a spot of lunch I think.

averaged down as well...
patience!!(??!!)) is the main thing here!
(pardon the pun) but still got a (small) sense of humour.
You can rarely hold a stock for 2 months and make big money...this may take the next part of this year to regain lost ground but when the orders do come and these include the American market, then I believe this stock will be a great long term hold. IMHO, DYOR!!
(good short term gains on EPD Today!)
Good luck...

Good for you 016622 even if you are just a number (geddit - in revenge for your pun)
I agree - it may take some time to make large profits, but I feel (probably largely irrationally) that we shall make up lost ground back up to the high 20's in quite short order. There is a distinct feel of bottom about today - although I do hate the unnerving way the MM's mark all stocks down a penny or so at close of play only to put them back up at opening time - sort of sticks in your throat - oh there I go again..

Stockdog, my fear was that this would continue to fall and I was right. Glad I took my money out at 22.5p last week but also glad that its on my watchlist because it will come good. I hope to get back in at less than 22p before the good news but if it don't come soon will they need to raise funds? Good Luck and hope to be back soon.

AS - if they need to raise funds, what proportion of existing stock will this be and will it be at a discount? I don't see they could need more than the order of 1 million max which would dilute today's cap by about 7.4% - hardly a catastrophic decline in SP at the very worst.
However, remember Directors stated "The net cash position at the end of the year was 1,101,000. The Directors believe the current level of cash is sufficient to see the Company to profitability." in their TA 5th January following their admission things were delayed in December's TA. They must be pretty certain that this is true still. Do they also have borrowing/overdraft capacity for short-term needs?
So fundraising seems unlikely through further delay in signing deals, but may be required for roll-out of manufacturing, implementation and marketing plan - no bad thing.
My dream scenario is that they are delaying announcing the final results to 31st December until they can simultaneously announce that they have signed at least some of the 14 NHS deals pending. There has never been an indication that they will not be signed, just when. My belief is strengthened by the fact that they still have not announced the date for finals - still waitign to get in as much good news as possible.
By the way, I too continue to fear they might fall further, but my greed got the better of me today!

I applaud your plan SD as I do believe this will come good and now you have more at a lower average. I'm watching and waiting to get back in.

At last we have a date for the annual results - 15th March just RNS'd.
This gives us a bit of a time scale against which to measure the inside market's anticpation of where we are headed.
Given this news and the price holding up at 19/20, I remain pleased with my recent purchase.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this one or do we think that everyone is waiting for results and some good news in there following the announcement about hospital spending earlier in the year.

The Gov. & NHS is incapable of progress and making good, effective investment decisions, it's slow, disorganised and held back by admin layers... extra money has gone in but wasted. the NHS is not run like a business where it's has to invest to survive. It'll just go on wasting the money that it knows will be put in.
After the election no more money will be put in with out putting up taxes. This it may or may not do depending on the political backdrop. This will also take time to to do but it will also be wasted again unless there's quick and effective NHS reforms.
So, all in all, I'm not convinced that there'll good news in the results on the day of their release.
Having gone into Deltex 3 months ago (wished I'd done a bit more research!),I hope I'm wrong and contracts /deals come along soon but I'm not banking on it. (IMHO)

I tend to agree not least of all because we are at the end of the NHS budget year and therefore decisions will be put off until April/May. I suppose this could be seen as a potential positive if the assertions of the positive support for the product is right.
