not sure Ted, but drop me a line through this system and i'll give you my private e-amil address .... have you got VOG still? ..... sp has suddenly acted like Lazarus, but will be happier if/when there is some proper good news to sustain it, rather than (presumably) just hope and expectation.

tcdmct .... have always accepted that some may either not like my stance and/or the way i put it ..... that is arguably their loss! ..... with regard to EME and SEO (for example), i hold the companies in pretty low esteem and will write as much .... the underlying opinion will be serious, though the style may be somewhat facetious ..... almost without fail, i try to keep "friends" feet on the ground - e.g. profits do not come from having wonderfully prospective bits of ground to drill.

cynic - Whatever way you do it, you shoot from the hip.
Nothing wrong in that, and it does upset a few who may need to be less sensitive.
tcdmct - you can carry on believing in this company if you want to, each to their own, however the very posters who you seem so opposed to now are the one who predicted this drop in sp and the reasons why it could happen.
In fact Big Al in particular got it spot on before it happened.
You did not take notice of their views and reasons, okay, so what?
Up to you.
Meantime try to chill out a little while continuing to hold these, getting heated up and raising your blood pressure will not put things right.

It is the eternal problem with BBs, sww. You're a hero if you call it right and everyone makes money, but try telling folk they're wrong (after a fashion) and all hell breaks loose.
My opinion of threads is that they are there for discussion on whatever subject. As ever there are pros and cons to everything and threads do not solely exist for the bulls of the stock (for example). If people were objective instead of believing they were right about a compnay regardless of the obvious then trouble would be avoided.
Personally, I'll post good and bad on any company. I'm afraid it's tough if that rubs some up the wrong way.
As for EME, it's surprising the news of testing didn't liven up the price much. It would have a few months back.

Yes, seasoned posters know all this, but of course the E & P sector is being bashed for failing to come up to expectations, just look at past fund raising compared to results.
I can think of one clear example off the cuff, Hardman placing @ 98p, company bought for 78p 3 months later.
Not too bright of the institutions was it?
There are many others and if some want it I will research tomorrow.
EME is a victim of this imo.
It is a time to reduce or even sell out imo.
Time will pass and sentiment will change, but I think as with last time it will be years before it does.
So I would say, pick your oilies carefully for a LTBH.
I have!

At some time these outfits must produce a return, sww, otherwise they just dilute by raising funds to drill dry (ish) holes.
As you say, the market, and AIM in particular, is now littered with the dead and dying. You are right - EME is likely to be one of these. Any that haven't made the grade in actual discoveries by now with the sector "froth" gone has probably missed the boat.
Bummer, but s**t happens. ;-0
