The owner of a pharmacy walks in to find a patient leaning heavily against a wall. He asks his young, newly appointed assistant pharmacist, "What's with that lady over there by the wall?"

The assistant says, "Well, she came in here this morning to get something for her cough. I couldn't find the cough syrup, so I gave her an entire bottle of laxative."

The owner says, "You silly girl! You can't treat a cough with laxatives!"

The young assistant pharmacist says, "Oh yeah? Look at her, she daren't even move, let alone cough!"

Ahh at last choccy cakes :-) Just depatched the pony express to help out with the mail.

This_is_me - 19 Oct 2005 11:59 - 7597 of 24230

I hope the bunny that I gave in and bought for my middle daughter last week-end doesn't turn out like the one in the picture. It is a piebald colour so I wanted her to call it 'pie' and save money on a hutch by keeping it in the oven, but I was told that is was too special to be flung in a pie for tea so I suggested we call it 'Sunday Lunch' as that is more special. She was a bit worried about something hanging underneath its belly until her mother pointed out that it is a male (she nearly roasted herself at this point, never mind roasting the rabbit). It was worth the expense for that moment brightening up the day.

stockbunny - 19 Oct 2005 12:07 - 7598 of 24230

LOL :>)
still email on go-slow.....snore....

jj50 - 19 Oct 2005 12:13 - 7599 of 24230

ntl will hardly open and msn is refusing to deliver to my inbox, sending message
back to sender "unable to deliver". Strange, so opto can you please send pony
express my way too? :-)

What a morning!

stockbunny - 19 Oct 2005 12:24 - 7600 of 24230

Plus the damn washing line has come down twice with washing on it, of course
some if it was white, sods' law!
AND having done a heath robinson to fix it the skies opened and down came
rain, hail and just about anything else you can think of - so the lot is in the
tumble dryer now and the way today is going, no doubt a pair of the jeans in
there at least will end up shrinking and I'll have lads complaining they are
lacking spherical comfort room!

Never mind the pony express JJ - let's hit the cab sauv!

optomistic - 19 Oct 2005 12:46 - 7601 of 24230

What do you mean never mind the pony express, I'm riding like mad to get there. Sorry jj I'm blasting away in a southerly direction.

optomistic - 19 Oct 2005 13:05 - 7602 of 24230

Well time for a rest, the horse is ready for watering..........

little willie - 19 Oct 2005 13:09 - 7603 of 24230

Hi All, Sweet Revenge running this Saturday in the 2.05pm @ Durbanville Racecourse [Country track, outskirts of C/Town]. First trip since April after I decided to let her have winter off racing but stay in full training.

She's grown like hell, looks great and full of promise [where have I heard that before?].

Should be a good price for punters like Jeffers & Dazzle; has a good draw and the top stable jock up soooo we've a chance??????
