Afternoon all, I am up north for a few days in Manchester. Just been for a quick look round the Central Wythenshawe shopping centre and I am sorry to have to report that the place has gone all posh, most of the shops are no longer boarded up, no grafitti and I only saw 2 shops with the word pound in their title, I spotted 2 stray dogs and one fight, thats way down on the old days, and they now have a Macdonals AND a KFC, it was good to see that the pie shop where I bought a cat food pasty a few years ago is still open !! OK I admit they didnt say it was cat food but it tasted like I image cat food tastes like.

Morning All, still in sunny wythenshawe, a bit delicate after a visit to curry mile last night with my co workers. Not sure how we got back to the hotel and I seem to have a bit of a headache !

Meant to add that I might even go and have a look round the bus station at lunchtime.

Last day at work today until 23 November.

Off fishing tomorrow then on business to Washington Tuesday, fly from Washington to Miami following Saturday for a week back home a couple of days then a week in Madiera.

Cant wait

I honeymooned in Florida, Jeffie. Brilliant place.

We chartered a yacht for a week off Key West. I'll never forget coming face to face with a shark while scuba diving off the Dry Tortugas.

edit: I was told later that it was most probably a Marlin. Whatever, it scared the living daylights out of me.
