Director selling, now L&G selling in todays RNS.

It would appear that the Gulf of Mexico happenings will have a long delaying effect on anything happening in the Bahamas....... ?

BPC reveals impressive 2D seismic survey results
StockMarketWire.com
Oil and gas explorer BPC has revealed impressive 2D seismic results from its southern Bahamas licences.

It says the new seismic data show large scale, compressional anticlinal folds up to 10 x 20km with vertical closure up to 4,000 ft and various possible 'direct hydrocarbon indicators', such as flat spots, dim zones and possible hydrocarbon leakage features which, if confirmed, could indicate an active hydrocarbon system.

It said the use of modern acquisition and processing technology had resulted in a major improvement in the quality and resolution of the seismic data, compared to previous data from the 1980s, and helped to confirm the geological model for the area.

The southern licences are next to Cuban waters.

Chairman Alan Burns said: "I am very pleased to report the impressive 2D seismic results from our southern licence area.

"The large structures and geological formations are further substantiated by the drill cores we already own from the area and give us indentified potential prospects on which we will be acquiring additional seismic later in the year, as we work toward exploration drilling."

Blow for BPC
StockMarketWire.com
The Bahamas Ministry of Environment has suspended all applications for oil exploration and drilling rights around its coast.

This is to protect the marine environment and avoid possible pollution.

BPC, the AIM quoted oil and exploration company, has drilling licences in Bahamas.

The right to repply.

I know a b@stard when I see one, You are in the Picture.

If I id hold or sold is not any of you F#cking business, but after seeing what happen to BP.,
any one holding the stock would not did its own research properly.

If you did the reseach also, instead of opening your filthy mouth, would have noticed no post from me
for close to 6 month that gives an idea of no interest in the shares lately.

Watch it, is a STALKER also

2517GEORGE - 07 Sep 2010 16:53 - 91 of 782

Last week (31/08) BPC took a hit from bad licence news they fell to around 1.70p at one stage, so with no clearer news re the licence BPC are now back to where they were when the licence news hit. Todays rns has helped the sp, but what a buying opportunity last week (no I didn't). The licence problem still has to be resolved though.

halifax - 07 Sep 2010 17:10 - 92 of 782

Georgy BPC's existing licences unlikely to be affected, only new licence applications will be delayed.

Balerboy - 10 Sep 2010 13:36 - 93 of 782

nice climb today hope it keeps going, another .6p and i'm back in the money.,.

2517GEORGE - 10 Sep 2010 13:53 - 94 of 782

Halifax-----apologies for tardy reply, yes I did realise that it was most likely that future licences would be the subject of delays, but even so, the sp dropped quite dramatically on that news.
