WOODIE - 15 Jun 2006 06:28 - 783 of 2511

i posted this on the other b/board the other day, i spoke to kevin foo the drilling started on monday there will be an rns by the end of june regardless of what of the results show.

queen - 15 Jun 2006 08:08 - 784 of 2511

buckle up guys! I'm sure it'll be another rollercoaster day, up then down! although I really hope it just stays in the blue for once

shadow - 15 Jun 2006 13:36 - 785 of 2511

Off subject: Eme the expected drilling at Glantal as stated from the previous RNS, is to start on or around 19th June. This not a definate date as possible delays are due to be announced, with ongoing rig schedule even further delayed. Initially the drilling time is between 15- 20 days , Therefore this should more extra problems for Eme, This could be by the end of June or early July.

hlyeo98 - 15 Jun 2006 16:15 - 786 of 2511

I haven't heard of any delays in EME. I guess this is some rumour of scare-mongering. Keep it up, shadow.

onthedolegit - 15 Jun 2006 21:15 - 787 of 2511

Kevin Foo has a bad track record.

Sell while you still can.

Overvalued dog in my view.

lizard - 15 Jun 2006 21:27 - 788 of 2511

it may have been overvalued a month ago at this stage of the companies development but now i would say it is considerably undervalued!. still hold my 2 year forecast of 500p.

onthedolegit - 15 Jun 2006 21:39 - 789 of 2511

500p !

LOL.

Keep taking the medication.

All oil/mining stocks are way overvalued.

About 60% overvalued say some analysts.

A bubble waiting to burst.

cynic - 15 Jun 2006 22:26 - 790 of 2511

hope u r putting your money where your mouth is then and shorting heavily! ..... or are you just mouth?

queen - 16 Jun 2006 07:26 - 791 of 2511

cynic, I've seen a few people like onethedolegit on other message boards, in fact they all sound like the same person, just with nothing better to do than try and piss people off. just ignore him. onthedolegit...f*ck off you w*nker

cynic - 16 Jun 2006 07:37 - 792 of 2511

don't worry old queen (sorry!) ..... such peeps do not worry me at all for it is a racing certainty that he has not backed his wind with hard cash ..... if he has, it is pretty certain that his testicles will be squeezed today as the market puts in a solid performance ..... however, also see my caveat on Dubious Sell-off

queen - 16 Jun 2006 07:58 - 793 of 2511

only thing i regret is not going in for more at 110p. I've no doubt voggy will bring home the bacon!

bonfield - 16 Jun 2006 16:32 - 794 of 2511

onthedolegit can you give more info about the Foo man? I read something about him in Evil Knievel's bear essentials a while back but have since flogged the book.

cynic - 16 Jun 2006 16:35 - 795 of 2511

For general consumption and for what it's worth .... not from the horse's mouth, but from a reliable source nevertheless ...... it seems that one of the large broking houses put out the rumour that two of the test wells that VOG are drilling were dud and had been plugged, and hence the plunge ..... VOG says that is codswallop.

queen - 16 Jun 2006 16:41 - 796 of 2511

so that would mean we're in for a steep rise once the rns is released to confirm this, cynic. The current SP hopefully is just a reflection of people beliveing the rumours and should return to previous levels once those rumours are quashed

That's the plan anyway!

cynic - 16 Jun 2006 16:51 - 797 of 2511

just keep your fingers crossed that the real news makes good reading ...... i am confident that we shall have an update by end June (or even on 31st), for VOG has promsied such ...... whether or not that says any more than "full evaluation still in hand" remains to be seen ...... for obvious reasons, everyone is still pretty shell-shocked from the last few weeks, but provided the market now stabilises, there may well be a steady rise in the price in anticipation.

Dinky1 - 16 Jun 2006 17:20 - 798 of 2511

Hello everyone. never posted here before.....but know cynic from another BB....Hi cynic.
onthedolegit seems to be saying the same things as someone on the ADVFN thread 2 days ago....that poster claimed that it was Peel Hunt who had fed him info that was derogatory to VOG and Mr Foo ( won't repeat it as I don't believe it). He has disappeared now!

It seems that a number of people on the other BB have emailed VOG regarding the sp. movement and this is one of the replies:

"Many thanks for getting in touch with us.

The recent share price activity is unfortunate and frustrating, but Victoria's share price decline whilst acute has not been abnormal amongst its peers. A great deal of speculation has emerged in anticipation of the test results from West Med and this has almost certainly exacerbated the effects of wider negative market sentiment in the junior resources sector.

Although the company cannot comment on the recent share price movements, we ask our investors to look at the underlying fundamentals. The only change since early May (when our share price was around 2.50/share) has been a resource update from D&M on the Danniella structure increasing total estimated resources from 500bcf to 518bcf and increasing contingent resources by five times. It should also be noted that Danniella is 1 of up to 26 identified subsurface structures and contributes only around 10% of the overall expected resource volumes for West Med of 5.6tcf of gas.

We fully appreciate how difficult the last few weeks have been for our investors, but I hope this gives you some comfort. Please dont hesitate to contact us again if you have any further questions"

Cynic - I've gone in for more and am holding tight.....can I assume you are doing the same then?

cynic - 16 Jun 2006 17:26 - 799 of 2511

Hi Dinky .... I am afraid I was forced to close some of my positions over the last few weeks, but yes, I bought more VOG today at 125.

Dinky1 - 16 Jun 2006 17:31 - 800 of 2511

Thanks cynic! have a good weekend..

queen - 16 Jun 2006 19:58 - 801 of 2511

yep me too, went in for more at 125

onthedolegit - 17 Jun 2006 17:13 - 802 of 2511

Foo has a very dodgy past.

I would not buy into any company with this shark in charge.
