Up nearlly 15% today and I beleive there could be more to come.
Evil Knievil has tipped it on EvilCast and has bought in 100,000 worth of stock a notifiable interest. He rates the management very highly and says they are attracting all the big bookmakers to the online casino site including punters the likes of William Hill, Chandler, and Ladbrokes. The company are now running at a profit every month and should break into a yearly profit from the years previous loss very soon. The company also ownes in partnership with a Swiss firm Boss another casino site and by all accounts that is doing well.
Im looking at this one as a momentum play pretty high risk as there are competitors out there but I feel the management will give it the edge.
Please DYOR, and remember you are responsible for your own buying and selling actions.
cheers GF.

Gaming Corporation PLC
Gaming Corporation PLC
14th September 2005
Trading Statement
Gaming Corporation plc ('Gaming Corp' or 'the Company'), the number 1 gaming
portal operator and owner of both
www.gambling.com
and
www.casino.co.uk,
today
provides an update on trading for the year ending September 2005.
Gaming Corp has completed the integration of Gambling.com and the business is
continuing to exceed management's expectations during the first months of
ownership. The mobile gaming business launched with Orange UK continues to
out-perform our initial revenue forecasts having signed 2,500 registered
customers during the initial soft launch phase. As Orange UK intensifies their
marketing effort we would anticipate further rapid growth in our mobile gaming
operation. The Company is also in ongoing negotiations with other European
network operators with a view to replicating the success we have experienced
with Orange UK.
In addition, the Company is now benefiting from a significant reduction in its
costs following a move to a new software supplier for its online and mobile
casino games. This reduction in marginal costs will continue to improve as the
casino operation continues to gain scale.
Gaming Corp continues to dominate the on-line gaming portal market and has
significantly benefited from both our advertisers requirement to attract new
customers and unprecedented market growth. Whilst there has been recent comment
regarding the increasing cost of customer acquisition in the online gaming
industry these growing subscriber acquisition and marketing costs have been
beneficial to Gaming Corp as operators are now paying up to 50% more to acquire
customers from our gaming portals.
The multiplayer internet and mobile poker software which has been developed with
Ongame is in the final stages of development and will be launched over the next
few weeks. The poker site will offer Casino.co.uk customer's access to over 5
Million registered poker players across Ongame's poker network. The software
will allow our customers to play online and via their mobile phone.
Gaming Corp has a lower regulatory risk compared to many of our competitors as
we do not target US customers with our own casino operation and our gaming
portal business falls outside the contentious regulatory framework as it is
essentially a media and advertising business.
The Company expects that operating profit before exceptional costs will be
materially higher than management's earlier expectations.
Justin Drummond, Chief Executive of Gaming Corp, commented,
'The Group has made tremendous progress during this year having completed a
number of key acquisitions and having successfully launched some groundbreaking
and innovative new gaming sites'.
'The mobile gaming division is going from strength to strength and we believe
that the new poker site will provide a considerable new revenue stream to the
Group'.

At 13 - 13.25p it is time to fillyaboots. Next week the RNS announcing the launch of new internet and mobile poker room will be released. This share hasn't been affected by the recent negative sector sentiment. And just look at that delicious chart. Time to leave 13-14p range well and truly behind.

Lets hope so, it's been stagnant for some time now. I think the broker forcast was for 25p.

I got this from the other side. Nothing new but just a reminder of good things to come.
SONO POVERO - 29 Sep'05 - 15:00 - 13792 of 13807
And what about this one? (just formulating more scenarios while sipping my lavazza)
News have leaked out to the MM. Imminent RNS announcing formally the launching of the poker initiative published recently. On the 14th September they announced in their RNS (the CAPITALS are mine):
"The multiplayer internet and mobile poker software which has been developed with Ongame is in the final stages of development and will be launched over the NEXT FEW WEEKS. The poker site will offer Casino.co.uk customer's access to OVER 5 MILLION registered poker players across Ongame's poker network. The software will allow our customers to play online and via their mobile phone".
I guess this means the cash can be generated in real time as soon as the site is up and running. from potential 5 million people! And 2 weeks ago they were saying the launch was FEW WEEKS away. It could happen tomorrow, which is Friday. Time to digest the news, Weekend press and by the end of next week I will say farewell to Lidl for ever.
As a reminder, they sounded really very upbeat:
The Company expects that operating profit before exceptional costs will be
MATERIALLY HIGHER than management's earlier expectations.
Justin Drummond, Chief Executive of Gaming Corp, commented,
"The Group has made TREMENDOUS PROGRESS during this year having completed a
number of key acquisitions and having successfully launched some groundbreaking
and innovative new gaming sites".
"The mobile gaming division is going from strength to strength and we believe
that THE NEW POKER SITE WILL PROVIDE A CONSIDERABLE NEW REVENUE STREAM TO THE GROUP".
Adding the recent rerating at 25p, I think who has spare cash and doesn't see this stock at 13.5p as a serious investment (I admit I was blind as well until today) should be either be treated urgently or alternatively be forced fed with marmite.
This was a substantiated ramping, mainly triggered by poverty.

added a few more on the dip--results in nov. should be good and the directors have bought some hefty chunks. I'm hoping it's worth the wait.

I must admit it has streached my patience but it will come good in the end. The gaming sector has taken a bashing recently but this has stood up well in comparison to the others in the sector.

Thanks for that GF. I talked my wife into buying some and guess what, the price dropped. 21p would do just fine, I'll be able to get me leg over again as the supply's been cut off till she gets her money back.

Gaming Corporation
GMC.L / 10.3p / 28.2m / Strong Buy from Buy
We initiated coverage on Gaming Corporation (our report "A magnet for gaming customers"; 23 Aug; 32pp) when its share price was 13p, but they have suffered in line with the dip in sentiment surrounding the online gambling operators and closed at a low of 10.25p last night. We feel that this is harsh given the relative attraction of the GMC business model and the confidence expressed in its trading statement (14 September). We expect over 60% of gross profit to come from advertising fees from other operators who are keen to secure space on the group's heavily-trafficked gambling-themed portals, Gambling.com and Casino.co.uk. In the statement, GMC said that during the early months of ownership the Gambling.com business had continued to exceed their expectations at the time of acquisition and that growing customer acquisition costs were proving beneficial to the business (as operators are now paying 50% higher rates to the group). It also said that the mobile gaming service set up with in
partnership with Orange UK had exceeded its initial customer registration and revenue generation targets. We have included only a very modest contribution from this revenue stream in our forecasts, so this could provide an upgrade at a later stage if progress continues to be encouraging. There has been a month's delay in launching a new online poker service (which will also be available via mobile devices) but we understand that the launch remains imminent. Sector ratings have come back but even if this leaves our target price of 21p (which would put the stock on a 2006E P/E of 22.5x, falling to 12.6x) looking a little aggressive, we are confident that there is substantial upside here. The company concluded the recent update by stating that operating profit before exceptionals would be materially higher than management's earlier expectations and bullish comments on the group's progress. We are therefore raising our recommendation to Strong Buy.

I remember some time ago having a conversation with someone else on this BB in regards to the penetration of gambling over mobile phones......and how it would be difficult from a marketing perspective, as for the time being it was not allowed for a company to send you ads of any sort to your mobile - be that in texts or otherwise - unless you had previously given them permission to do so.......
i have recently read on the t1ps.com site how the Evil one is going short on a company because he believes that the "forthcoming launch of Smart Ads"......" a free to use mobile phone service where the customers "pay" by agreeing to receive annoying adverts."; will have a negative impact on them......
- from GMC's point of view; surely this would be a perfect way to get into the mobile phones of the bored commuters during their peak hour rush to and from work - perhaps offering them free games that lead into some form of gambling - the way they do on their website......that is of course if they are allowed to eventually advertise thru this type of service.....
nevertheless - the communication medium has been opened.
