Think I would prefer the engine!! Must be a
control freak :-)

chocolat - 17 Nov 2005 20:19 - 7938 of 24230

Don't you just hate it when your boiler explodes on a night like this :(

jj !!!

jj50 - 17 Nov 2005 20:43 - 7939 of 24230

Does everything around you overheat, choccie?!

Warming a Remy Martin for you now ..... you
can warm your hands over the flame :-)

chocolat - 17 Nov 2005 20:48 - 7940 of 24230

Cor...smashing, jj.
By the way - I'm with you on the engine.
Hands down, every time ;)

Spaceman - 17 Nov 2005 20:50 - 7941 of 24230

Fundy, I saw your questions and I dont know the answer to either of them !

Fundamentalist - 17 Nov 2005 21:10 - 7942 of 24230

thanks Spacey - no probs

Just been dragged to the trafford centre for a couple of hours for Debenhams 25% night!!! absolutely packed. Next almost empty, M&S doing OK, WH Smith empty - its that time for considering which retailers to short again

Spaceman - 17 Nov 2005 22:49 - 7943 of 24230

jj50 - 18 Nov 2005 09:01 - 7944 of 24230

Good morning all!

Don't think Bunny will be in till later, so usual spread of food plus
hot soup, pies and sausage rolls for those that are freezing!

optomistic - 18 Nov 2005 10:06 - 7945 of 24230

I'm a bit late jj but any chance of some of that hot soup and a danish of course.
Bl***y cold here in Yorkshire, but we're not alone I suppose!

jj50 - 18 Nov 2005 10:37 - 7946 of 24230

Steaming soup and danish in two minutes!
Slight rise in HCEG opto, you still in too?

optomistic - 18 Nov 2005 10:49 - 7947 of 24230

Yup jj, could be a long haul from here, but they do have the products to do it.

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2005 13:16 - 7948 of 24230

stockbunny - 18 Nov 2005 16:26 - 7950 of 24230

Soup on the hob Opto, bread in the oven! :>)

Socrates - 18 Nov 2005 16:26 - 7951 of 24230

Hello all, am I in time to wish everyone a trouble free weekend. Hope so. Fairly blue day today so ending the week on an up-note. Just received a nice divi from RDW too, one of my original and best investments. Still going up, not got the foggiest idea why but let's not look the proverbial gift horse.......

Brass monkeys here in Cheltenham, got the winter duvet out to sling over the hammock, got to keep nice and snug.

Socrates - 19 Nov 2005 08:22 - 7952 of 24230

It's Saturday and Socco is up with the lark again, or would be if the larks weren't ground by the freezing fog. Thick white frost everywhere, real winter, first for a few years.

Coffee house now open, nice hot FEB available and plenty of heating on to keep us all comfy.

jj50 - 19 Nov 2005 08:50 - 7953 of 24230

Morning Socs.

Welcome sight the Coffee house open at this time in the morning. Bacon buttie
would be amazing :-)

Frosty here too but sun shining. You off shopping today?

Fundamentalist - 19 Nov 2005 09:07 - 7954 of 24230

Morning all

Off for a chilly day at the races - could do with a FEB to start the day

Spaceman - 19 Nov 2005 12:00 - 7955 of 24230

Morninall all, just tucked into a plate of bacon and eggs, very nice way to start the day.

Socrates - 19 Nov 2005 12:00 - 7956 of 24230

jj
