Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

jeffmack - 01 Dec 2005 10:46 - 8135 of 24230

I should have been a dentist.

I decided to try a new private dentist as I dont like my existing dentist. I have lost part of a tooth and I need a root canal, filing and then crown, all in all close to 1,000. Alternatively I can pay 150 to have it out, so its coming out.

Fishing all night Dave?

stockbunny - 01 Dec 2005 11:07 - 8140 of 24230

Thanks Dave - can always find a few bob to buy you a beer :>)
Jeffie - no way would I pay over a grand, if it was me, that tooth
would be on death row also - dentists such a rip off - and if I told
you how many times I have heard people have crowns etc put in and
ended up paying and paying due to problems and return visits...it's just
not funny......

I could save you 150 thinking about it Jeffie...take this piece of string
go over to the door handle, we'll provide liquid pain-killer...5 minutes and
it will be out! ;>)
Seriously - tooth ache ain't funny....

jeffmack - 01 Dec 2005 16:50 - 8146 of 24230

We are very friendly with the guvnor at our local in the city and he makes sure we get full benefit of any promotions that they run. On Thursday they had a limeric competition which of course we won. The prize..............

A KEG OF GUINNESS (88 PINTS)

So we wont need to buy beer for a couple of days!

stockbunny - 01 Dec 2005 16:52 - 8147 of 24230

Blimey that's a lot of beer! :>)
Where will you put the keg?
Bit big to hide in a filing cabinet under K...
;>)

jeffmack - 01 Dec 2005 16:55 - 8148 of 24230

bunny
The pub gives you a cheque book with 88 cheques in it, you exchange one for a pint of guiness in the pub.

Seeing as they charge 2.95 a pint, that prize is worth 259.60

stockbunny - 01 Dec 2005 16:59 - 8149 of 24230

Oh great well done :>)
Sorry you have to remember I have a fur-brain at times LOL

jeffmack - 01 Dec 2005 17:05 - 8150 of 24230

stockbunny - 01 Dec 2005 17:07 - 8151 of 24230

Now careful Jeffie!

Socrates - 01 Dec 2005 17:44 - 8152 of 24230

Opto
Pay the extra 50p and have the injection!

Good evening all. Funny day, market up 60 points and all my shares go down, very odd.

Socrates - 02 Dec 2005 09:00 - 8153 of 24230

Good morning playmates. Yes, you can believe your eyes, it is Socco with a day off from toil. So I can watch my shares fall instead of find out when I get home.

First things first, a good FEB and a pot of tea.

stockbunny - 02 Dec 2005 09:09 - 8154 of 24230

Morning Socs!
Enjoy your day off - hope the weather is better over with you then it is
here - overcast and wet.

Tea and the usual danish for me I think
