Wow - well done rf! I have a long while to wait until any of my shares hit 10-bagger status, but one can live in hope I guess (if I can live that long!)

cynic - 20 Oct 2009 15:50 - 818 of 5505

"x-baggers" are only such when the profits are IN THE BANK!

the strength of GKP is extraordinary, given that the market has turned comparatively weak.
as it stands, the volume is very ordinary, but it may be that it will get a boost at closing as large underlying orders are completed

Just checked ; VOG was not a tenner...more like a sixer...(six pence that is)...

required field - 20 Oct 2009 15:52 - 820 of 5505

Have banked a few..that qualifies.

required field - 20 Oct 2009 16:37 - 821 of 5505

Close : 124p.....what brings tomorrow ?....

cynic - 20 Oct 2009 16:46 - 822 of 5505

who knows? ...... volume was only average today, and i confess i find it somewhat disconcerting to see this continued strength with no logic/rns ...... am certainly not unhappy to have sold 10k of 25k at a damn good profit, with the balance still showing very profitably

=============

obviously a late trade, but 1m at 122 must surely have been the late completion of a sale

watcher - 20 Oct 2009 23:04 - 823 of 5505

just said my prayers for the night..........it started with thanks for a good day and ended with rns.....or something close

getting closer

Balerboy - 20 Oct 2009 23:25 - 824 of 5505

AMEN

grevis2 - 20 Oct 2009 23:28 - 825 of 5505

Another encouraging day. News must be just around the corner.

moneyplus - 20 Oct 2009 23:31 - 826 of 5505

close to or at target depth now--report out soon--they know what they are sitting on and so do the workers at the drill site! This could be a giant co. if it avoids being taken out--we can feel the vibes and it's hard not to get very very excited!!

required field - 21 Oct 2009 08:45 - 827 of 5505

Well : no rns this morning....any views anybody...?....

cynic - 21 Oct 2009 08:47 - 828 of 5505

sp has/had got ahead of itself, and my comment 822 late yesterday reflected exactly that

required field - 21 Oct 2009 08:48 - 829 of 5505

Good morning Cynic.

required field - 21 Oct 2009 08:50 - 830 of 5505

This next rns is crucial...it can send the sp either way....and how far is anyone's guess.

cynic - 21 Oct 2009 09:03 - 831 of 5505

hence today's retreat as the wise take profits of some/all

Balerboy - 21 Oct 2009 09:07 - 832 of 5505

Once again you did the right thing cynic, top slice was good at 1.26... wish i'd followed.

required field - 21 Oct 2009 09:24 - 833 of 5505

Offer lower than bid..weird !.....never a dull day here....took more profits earlier...should be a rebound sooner or later.

required field - 21 Oct 2009 09:32 - 834 of 5505

Was it something I said...what a pullback.

cynic - 21 Oct 2009 09:51 - 835 of 5505

sold some more at 108 ..... better a modest profit than none!

required field - 21 Oct 2009 09:53 - 836 of 5505

My lowest sell of late was just over 119p....probably now going to stay put...any news at all or is this nervous investors profit taking ?.
