Watch it buster! NIS has announced good interims today and, as always with NIS, the price dropped. It gets traded a bit so I'm looking to see if it might trade up a couple of pence by day close.

stockbunny - 06 Dec 2005 09:56 - 8255 of 24230

Opto - suggest we 'ttt' ORM fairly regularly to see if a response comes?
Unless of course we get our wrists slapped for being naughty......

stockbunny - 06 Dec 2005 10:07 - 8256 of 24230

Opto poured you a cup of tea, got to get on and do some work
enough playing 'spot the ramper' for today!
;>)

hilary - 06 Dec 2005 10:08 - 8257 of 24230

Old Socs,

Once you've stripped all the bullsh!t out of the NIS interims, wasn't their pbt and eps actually DOWN on a year ago?

optomistic - 06 Dec 2005 10:08 - 8258 of 24230

:-) pot of tea and danish please Bunny.

optomistic - 06 Dec 2005 10:10 - 8259 of 24230

I sooo slow getting here, one pot will be enough thanks :-)

stockbunny - 06 Dec 2005 10:12 - 8260 of 24230

have your tea and sit and enjoy your danish :>)
At the end of the day if 'del-boy/girl' is going to sell from
their 'suitcase,' not much can be done to stop them, just hope
potential 'buyers' think before making decisions.......

Yes, but!

optomistic - 06 Dec 2005 10:15 - 8262 of 24230

caveat emptor!

Spaceman - 06 Dec 2005 10:25 - 8263 of 24230

Strange thing just happened I was on hold to our company travel while they were checking a flight for me from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore on Sunday when I read the letters SIN above, SIN is also the code for Singapore airport and when the travel person came back out I had 5 seconds of complete confusion as I was thinking about shares not travel.

Socrates - 06 Dec 2005 10:30 - 8264 of 24230

Caveat Emptor indeed Opto.

hilary - 06 Dec 2005 10:31 - 8265 of 24230

Old Socs,

If you price a share for growth and then take that growth away, I would've thought it's a no-brainer which way the share price is going to go. Good luck with it though.

Socrates - 06 Dec 2005 10:42 - 8266 of 24230

I'm only looking for a day trade on a day price recovery.

Having said that, NIS has been a steady riser for the best part of 3 years now and shows no sign of stopping as they integrate their aquisitions. The MD has always held the position that he prefers to add shareholder value rather than pay dividends and that has been re-iterated in the interims and demonstrated in the share price movement.

I'm not recommending it to anyone, just pointing out where I stand, so to speak.

Big Al - 06 Dec 2005 10:50 - 8267 of 24230

Ok, which hammock is the comedian in? ;-)))))

Big Al - 06 Dec 2005 11:01 - 8269 of 24230

That's because he is a stand-up comedian.

For a long weekend away in January or February check Ryanair. We have just booked for 1p each way Liverpool to Florence, there are some Barcelona for 1p, and lots of flights between 5 and 10, Rome is 9.99

stockbunny - 06 Dec 2005 13:56 - 8272 of 24230

Hope 1p doesn't mean you're fitted with artifical wings when you get to the airport and pointed in the direction of the nearest hill facing the right way?
;>)
Seriously Sputnik, well done good find, makes you wonde rhow much they really could offer air fares for if they have to cut the price to the bone!

Sputnik - 06 Dec 2005 14:31 - 8273 of 24230

Bunny :-)

I should imagine it's just a question of bums on seats in January, I have also booked 4 days car rental through Ryanair for 53.
