As expected , Greece elects the correct party. Markets are always right, US rises on Friday said the ND party were going to win.

Big blue day ahead - everyone who sold out last week - tough, get buying quick.

cynic - 18 Jun 2012 08:24 - 839 of 2393

if the markets are always right - not very consistent on that are you - then how come BOR et al are not rocketing away?

When it comes to the EU, the market acts like a drowning man.
Throw him a straw and no matter how useless that straw is regarding saving him, he will grab it.
Everyone with half a brain, knows that the Euro and therefore the EU in its present form is doomed, so why don't the politicians just let it die, as the sooner they do so, the quicker countries and the world in general can start re-building their finances.
We all of course know the answer.
The EU has become the biggest gravy train there is.
The EU makes our self financing politicians look almost 100% honest.
As has often been said, if the EU was a company it would due to its accounts not being signed off since its inception be banned from trading, and its directors barred from holding positions of trust.
Of course cleaning up the EU will never happen, as it is self Policing.
A dictatorship, by another name!

Mark my words. Things will not be as good for fogl as Proselenes is saying. I bought PVR and cashed out a few months ago & now just bought in again after watching this video which sounded good

FoodSexMusic7 - 20 Jun 2012 21:07 - 844 of 2393

Why in the name of fuck do I now have to post with a new name

HARRYCAT - 20 Jun 2012 21:29 - 845 of 2393

'Cos there are already six people who have been banned for using the word S*x in their name and they like to keep a record. So brace yourself! ;o)

greekman - 21 Jun 2012 07:11 - 846 of 2393

Yet again, a poster I have never seen on here condemning Fogl so that they can ramp another company.
The problem is they never quantify their comments.

Proselenes - 22 Jun 2012 13:21 - 847 of 2393

Looks like it could be an August spud for Loligo - that would be fine with me, in fact beneficial for share price strength. Oil price should be strong and upwards going into Q3 and the markets normally rally after the summer doldrums.

So its all looking like the "perfect" storm for FOGL come August - markets in a good (better) mood, oil price robustly moving upwards in Q3 and Loligo spuds......... all good.

halifax - 22 Jun 2012 13:30 - 848 of 2393

PP dream on.

Proselenes - 23 Jun 2012 06:51 - 849 of 2393

It is very interesting, and as I have been saying for some time - FOGL has been and still is the perfect buy at the moment. Minimal downside and loaded with massive upside for Q3.

Here is a chart of FOGL versus the other FI explorers last couple of months.

And here is the chart of FOGL versus a range of other oil and gas stocks last couple of months.

When you look at the figures some people have lost a fortune in the last couple of months because they are in love with other stocks and holding them for no valid reason except blind love and hope. When markets wobble sell the weak and buy the strong - its very simple. The strong will go up more first, the weak will only rise again later.

FOGL a top pick, along with TLW, OPHR, CHAR and BLVN for Jefferies.

TRP is not a top pick..........

FoodSexMusic7 - 25 Jun 2012 16:11 - 854 of 2393

The underlying fact is that RKH, the only company down there to actually find out can't even get a farm in agreement. Mark my words, 'how ever good the return on ivestments are, they won't be as good as what Proselenes is making them out to be'

Proselenes - 26 Jun 2012 07:12 - 855 of 2393

Farm out done. Always said FOGL is the most attractive of all companies down there and therefore would be first to farm out, and so they are..........
