handbags at dawn thing
;>)

Guinness Socs?

jeffmack - 15 Dec 2005 14:07 - 8475 of 24230

So I can come out from under the desk.....

Got one of our crimbo parties tonight, there are 15 of us going ten pin bowling. Should be fun

stockbunny - 15 Dec 2005 14:08 - 8476 of 24230

Particularly as the Christmas spirit starts to flow and the ten pins start
looking like 20 to some of your colleagues Jeffie. Makes a nice change to the usual office thing :>)

Lambykins - 15 Dec 2005 14:12 - 8477 of 24230

bunny why did you say he was only joking poor lamb because i am not poor i have my own ribbon and i was not joking either i dont like it here but now i am at the airport on my way home and spaceman is sleeping and he is snoring he told me he wanted to get back home for a swing in the hammock

i am a lamb

stockbunny - 15 Dec 2005 14:17 - 8478 of 24230

Ahh poor lambie!
See here's the difference...
You're a lambie, but that's not just a lamb, oh not that's a very special
type of lamb. I was thinking about your lesser cousins you see, who are poor
lambs as they stand in the cold on Welsh hills knowing that one day they are destine for that terrible place...I wont say where.. but you know
Sain****ys or the other one Te**o.
But you're a special lambie and that's different....
If Spacie is snoring try standing on his nose, that will stop him breathing easily
and he should stop...
see you when you get back, your friend bunny xx

Mrs Lambykins - 15 Dec 2005 14:18 - 8479 of 24230

Look buster, you said you were just off to the market to sell a bit of wool so we could buy some nice Christmas presents. Nothing was said about you gallivanting off with HIM abroad. Get back here by tomorrow night or you will be a shag pile carpet by Monday!!!

Priscilla - 15 Dec 2005 14:34 - 8482 of 24230

Just been round to my bank and was offered some mulled wine and mince pies! I brought some back for anybody around on this thread this afternoon. Help yourselves.

jj50 - 15 Dec 2005 14:35 - 8483 of 24230

Poor lambie indeed! Sounds like he has to face
the music wherever he is .......... we should club
together and buy him a new bell for Christmas !

Another log on the fire and a quick cuppa before
I head out again. Care to join me Socs? :-)

Lambykins - 15 Dec 2005 14:41 - 8484 of 24230

jj50 - 15 Dec 2005 14:44 - 8485 of 24230

Lemon drizzle cake then lambykins? :-))

stockbunny - 15 Dec 2005 14:44 - 8486 of 24230

Thank you JeffMack for your usual pearls of widsom, in one bunny ear and promptly
out of the other....;>)

Hi Priscilla! How's you? Hope life is going OK
:>)

As long as he has stopped snoring lambie that's all that matters.

Spaceman - 15 Dec 2005 14:46 - 8487 of 24230

Just woken up

did someone say lemon drizzle cake?

jeffmack - 15 Dec 2005 14:47 - 8488 of 24230

Grilling: Lamb chops should be grilled on a covered grill over a medium-high heat. Ideally, you should grill them to medium rare or medium. There are few things worse than a dried out, over-cooked lamb chop, so keep a close eye on them and remove the chops from the grill when you reach an internal temperature of 140 F. And as always, let the meat rest for a few minutes before you serve it; in this case, five minutes will be good.

Spaceman - 15 Dec 2005 14:49 - 8489 of 24230

Oh no trouble at mill........

stockbunny - 15 Dec 2005 15:06 - 8490 of 24230

JeffMack you're cruising for a bruising off the lamb........

hilary - 15 Dec 2005 15:30 - 8491 of 24230

I'd like to know who bothers to test the internal temperature of a lamb chop with a thermometer.

Stick a knife in it and look at the colour. If it's pink, it's going to be good!

Mrs Lambykins - 15 Dec 2005 16:09 - 8492 of 24230

Lambykins - I think you are still in mourning for sweaty Svety. You seem to forget what Hilary and Choccie did to her. Shame neither of them bothered to dress up!

jj50 - 15 Dec 2005 16:17 - 8493 of 24230

Oh no.. hope Lambykins is on the plane and misses all this.

Jeffmack, you are a brute to even suggest it!!

I'll have a slice of cake though. Just been standing in
Tesco and you would think it was Christmas Day tomorrow :-(
