Still going up with every buy makes it very bullish.

Immediate target for the share is 42p to 45p or so thats what our research suggests , agree with papalpower that the bombing in london did halt progress but looks like it may be for the good since the share was nearing the upper band of an uptrend it got time to correct.

peeyam yes it tested the support level and if it went through 30p it would have been bad and that it did not and bounced up from 34p offer is very bullish. Those who sold had their shares brought by the lurking Goldman Sachs in my opinion and thats why it is stronger now and into the equation goes the strengthening dollar making all the US and Asia contracts by Vislink group more valuable in sterling terms.

squidd still going strong on VLK next week could be a real gainer and I see your buy on APH was well timed in the morning with a rise in the afternoon.

squidd and peeyam they did not get any real sells on Friday afternoon so we should be having another strong week ahead as they will be short of stock for buyers.

I heard this mentioned once before, from a guy at that psychiatric clinic which was set up to treat traumatised victims of the dotcom crash, but we never found out what it was and the guy is probably still rambling on about it at some institution. the share is up 3 days in a row, hence could be on constant gainers list soon, this will get the buying volumes higher I think. by end of week if share keeps up the momentum we can expect around 44p

peeyam very true the thing thats hidden from most now is the fact that even with the EPS forecast to double for next year on the excellent orders the sterling to dollar effect will raise EPS even more.

Its a case of adding into the results now as I think that once they are released there will be a serious upgrade to EPS forecasts.

I think it will end stronger today peeyam so keep watching.

peeyam I passed this over to Wapit so here for you too, large contract news in the coming weeks would no doubt be a massive boost to the price however so will an EPS upgrade as Vislink is presently trading at only 12 times forecast 2006 EPS. With US interest rates due to go up and UK rates to go down the dollar will continue to strengthen which will boost Vislinks sterling profits for the second half. A 2006 EPS upgrade to 3.5p would make 13 times the forecast 45.5p and an upgrade to 3.8p would make 13 times forecast 49.4p.

Sector average PER is 19.5 and market average is 13.49 so if you give Vislink a PER of 16 on upgraded EPS forecast of 3.5p you get a price of 56p. Even if you leave present forecast 2006 EPS where it is and give a PER of 19 then the price is 60p. There is plenty of room for upgrades and also plenty of reason and March and August are the times the Institutions like to buy Vislink.

If you look at the Price to Sales Ratio (PSR) for Vislink its x0.58 where Sector average is x5.44 which leaves plenty of upside (market average is x2.36), give VLK a PSR of x1 and its up in the 70p range.

This is the question do you add and buy now or wait until the brokers upgrade by which time its too late as its gone up already before you hear about it. In these recovery plays its all about getting in on the growth in EPS before the brokers upgrade their forecast, which will be due for VLK in mid September in my opinion.

Brokers upgraded VLK 2006 EPS forecast early July on the contract wins and what has not gone in yet is the sterling profit to dollar increase which I am sure will be mentioned in the results due around the 1st of September after the previous results wording and will cause another upgrade in September along with a strong order pipeline for Link, Hernis and MRC (and of course Vislink) which should be noted in the coming results in my opinion.

Half year trading update
Vislink plc ('the Group') is pleased to announce that on a comparable basis
trading profitability for the six months to June 30 2005 is expected to be
substantially ahead of the first six months of last year and that the Group's
trading remains in line with market expectations for the full year.

The Board is encouraged by the level of current trading and the recent
significant orders won by our broadcast businesses in both the US and in the UK, together with Hernis, our Norwegian based marine safety business.

The Board continues to look forward to the rest of the year with confidence.

Only about 20 days left to interims now so we should see strong buying coming in with the expected profits and upwards revisions to forecast after a bullish set of results.

Flying TV add new COFDM airborne system from Link 2005-08-08

Link have sold an airborne XP system to Flying TV, the UKs only ready to go TV Helicopter.
G-PIXX is equipped with Links latest 5W COFDM Amplifier and rack mounted TX unit which enables any satellite truck equipped with a COFDM receiver to receive the transmission. This system will give a range of around 100Km without the need for any mechanical tracking antennas enabling G-PIXX to cover any breaking news or sports event.
Link have been working with Flying TV over the past six months and have already used this system to great effect on many news and sports stories including the 2005 University boat race.

PpP: Am having an exceptional week with recovery stocks, and now VLK joins the blue brigade with promise of more to come. Thanks again for the news flow - it sounds like they are in the front line for surveillance technology, at the time when it is most needed.

squidd the on balance volume making new highs again after London knocked it down means they will have to keep raising the price to get sellers to fill the buys. Its looking very strong and an upgrade to EPS forecast after profitable results based on strong order book and increased profits from the weakening pound to the dollar are due so 50p here we come in my opinon.

Would not be surprised to see a few more 100K buys at the end of the day like yesterday in the remaining time before results as I think Goldman are after another million having got about 400K to 500K at the moment.

And we are off squidd !

My target is a 2006 EPS forecast upgrade from 3.2 to 3.8 after results (based on strong order book and increased sterling profits due to dollar strength).

3.8 x 15 = 57p fair value for me in my opinon.

squidd looks strong and got over a resistance level today so will be good going into the results which are quite soon now. I added into UNG today and will add into both VLK and UNG in the run up to their results which should be VLK 1 week before UNG.

Up again today squidd all looking good. 17th is news from TAG if not before so keep an eye out for that.

PpP: My computer has been down, so VLK & APH welcomed me in blue on return - at a time when some of my recovery stocks are temporarily drooping. Both these shares are looking more and more like backbone shares to maintain stability in the portfolio, when others are looking uncertain.
I never did get into UNG because of the sudden jump in the spread and I was then distracted by ULT, which is looking exciting at present.
