Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 09:25 - 8598 of 24230

The girls are hiding away these days, perhaps they are so very busy with the Christmas preparations.
Hope you put the kettle on Socco, always the duty of the first one in :-)

Socrates - 21 Dec 2005 09:28 - 8599 of 24230

Just like Socco, the kettle is hot and ready. There is tea, coffee and a virtually limitless number of beverages to select, what is your fancy?

jeffmack - 21 Dec 2005 09:33 - 8600 of 24230

Good morning. Woke up this morning with 3 tattoos. Must of been a good crimbo party last night.

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 09:35 - 8601 of 24230

Tea will be nice Socco, like you a bit of a traditionalist.
Had a look at my portfolio movements and barring an unexpected event like a miracle I think it is going to be a boring day on the market for me.

Socrates - 21 Dec 2005 09:59 - 8602 of 24230

Jeffmack
Who were the tattoos on?

Opto
Tea coming up, I'll make an fresh pot though, the early pot is a bit stewed by now.

Socrates - 21 Dec 2005 10:08 - 8603 of 24230

Oh dear, I have to go out. Not allowed to sit here all day chatting, back in a couple of hours or so.

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2005 10:45 - 8604 of 24230

Morning people!
:>)

I see Socs has been enlisted for Xmas shopping ;>)

Lunch menu today will be as follows:

Roast beef, yorkshires, roast tatties, peas and carrots
OR
Aubergine bake with mushrooms and roasted vine toms

Sherry trifle
OR
baked Alaska

Due to a cronic shortage after yesterdays binge, there is no Guinness
until tomorrow morning's delivery but complimentary wine and lager is available
as a substitute.
:>)

Kivver - 21 Dec 2005 11:31 - 8605 of 24230

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 11:48 - 8606 of 24230

There's always some Guinness Kivver :-)

Fundamentalist - 21 Dec 2005 11:57 - 8607 of 24230

dont listen to the bunny, we have emergency supplies :-)

Kivver - 21 Dec 2005 11:57 - 8608 of 24230

Hi opto, Fundy, stockbunny says ''computer says nooo'' and we all know the girls always wear the trousers.

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 12:06 - 8609 of 24230

Not when it comes to beer supplies!

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2005 12:23 - 8610 of 24230

Now look chaps I'm going by the stock cupboard and cellar but if Opto or Fundy has some hidden somewhere then you may be in luck. I still find secret hordes of Bods from time to time, under floorboards, behind pipes, in the coal shed from when our dear Pouchy was about so nothing when it comes to our gentlemen and their favourite tipple will surprise me!
;>)

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 12:32 - 8611 of 24230

;0)

Socrates - 21 Dec 2005 13:52 - 8612 of 24230

I'm back and not too financially challenged by the shopping. Her-indoors demanded a visit to a farm shop, 30 miles away to boot. Funny thing, when we got there I found they also sold Italian Handbags. Still, it has solved that perrenial question of what to buy for crimbles.

Bags of fresh veg and a few other oddments will save a few items on the list for the last pre-crimble trolley race.

Now, regards the Guinness, Stockbunners does not know this but there is a direct pipeline under the Irish Sea to the Guinness well. So despite her doubts, there is no shortage. That bottle stuff is only for visitors, the real stuff comes out of the tap in the bar marked "Not for washing".

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2005 13:56 - 8613 of 24230

Oh dear - why didn't someone tell me this before I got the plumber to
plumb in the new washing machine - I wondered what that aroma was
on the t-towels!
;>)

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 14:03 - 8614 of 24230

Well Socco has had a good morning, very convenient that the farmshop was selling Italian handbags :-)

stockbunny - 21 Dec 2005 14:05 - 8615 of 24230

Oh I don't know....leather...farm shop...it has a related quality
;>)

optomistic - 21 Dec 2005 14:09 - 8616 of 24230

You girls, you are always a step ahead of us! We are like lambs being led to slaughter :-/

Socrates - 21 Dec 2005 14:18 - 8617 of 24230

Opto
I believe it may not have been too much of a coincidence.

stockbunny
I thought 'T' towels always smell like that!
