Petroceltic International, Good prospects 25pence soon (PCI)

inbs - 23 Dec 2003 22:02

New Projects and good prospects. will be the winner in 2004. IMO
25p in early 2004

rooandu - 15 Nov 2004 10:57 - 860 of 1258

m100...the only thing stopping pci from getting to 20p+ by Christmas is ST being dry or full of water! If they strike oil, realtistically, with all the sentiment in this stock (and lots yet to show it's head!!!)...the price will have left the 20p mark way way behind .......i guess our day of reckoning will be here pretty soon :-)

m100 - 15 Nov 2004 11:13 - 861 of 1258

to quote T3 last night.. "judgement day cannot be stopped"

goal - 15 Nov 2004 12:20 - 862 of 1258

Resistance at 18p, I would be happy if 18p became the support line this week.goal.

Big Al - 15 Nov 2004 19:41 - 863 of 1258

Evening.

Nice rise, biiig volume! Good to see after last week's cheeky pullback on less than impressive volume. Would expect something in the next 7-14 days as someone somewhere will found out prior to any official announcement.

;-)

m100 - 16 Nov 2004 08:48 - 864 of 1258

BLR had a good day yesterday up 18% to 2p based on new licences etc, lets hope PCI goes the same way

m100 - 16 Nov 2004 14:16 - 865 of 1258

hmm, is it just to spite me?

107606 - 16 Nov 2004 19:15 - 866 of 1258

are we expecting anyhting soon on these? are we guaranteed news soon regarding the spudding of ST?

rooandu - 17 Nov 2004 07:22 - 867 of 1258

good morning...hope we get to see some decent price movement(in our favour) today.

107606... ST spudding took place 5.11...rns released 6.11...results expected c.4 weeks time(i.e.early dec)...has been suggested progress update/results maybe with us sooner perhaps as early as next week...but again know one knows.

Good luck all...may we start movin soon!!

bugsymalone - 17 Nov 2004 11:27 - 868 of 1258

Blackstuff found 50 year ago, so with techniological advances and the management team onboard, oil strike is 95% likely imho, plus some gas thrown in for good measure.....

m100 - 17 Nov 2004 13:41 - 869 of 1258

well, call me an old sceptic, price dropping now - good time to buy in for the upsurge? wish I could!
methinks bugsy hit the nail on the head - they all know where the oil is - its just when it becomes profitable to do so, at nearly 4 a gallon and whatever per therm - even a dribble is worth it now!

petralva - 18 Nov 2004 07:36 - 870 of 1258

write up in shares mag today about tunisian drilling.
reasonably interesting.

goal - 18 Nov 2004 09:34 - 871 of 1258

Industry news and views is pretty effective.
Barely a day passes without an announcement
from an explorer and this week is no different.
Among the deluge a statement from AIM-listed
Petroceltic (PCI:AIM) caught my eye: at first
glance the news seemed to be muttering
something about Tunisia... drilling to establish
presence of hydrocarbons... close to site of oil
find in 1958? Pretty bog standard, eh?
But wait a minute, whats this? Geologists
used by the firm reckon holes in the ground
here could produce reserves of 400 million
barrels. In the middle of the desert. Blimey!
Let me explain. Petroceltic has signed its
first licence in Tunisia to explore the Ksar
Hadada block, next to Libya. The well in
question is Sidi Toui 3 and apparently
Petroceltic plans to drill down 1,300 metres
and run tests over the next four weeks or so,
which should mean news by mid-December.
Spudded on Bonfire night using the China
Great Wall rig 92, could this mean fireworks for
Petroceltic? Shares 16% up over the past
month suggests investors are taking notice.

From shares mag.goal.

rooandu - 18 Nov 2004 09:46 - 872 of 1258

cheers for the info.

m100 - 18 Nov 2004 14:13 - 873 of 1258

goal - 400M barrels lot of tanks of fuel! - so given the rockscatchers reckon there is already reserves there, when the news hits - as I mentioned before somone going to make a packet especially dithering about at this price - so 32p as tipped before a possible outcome?

Big Al - 24 Nov 2004 15:04 - 874 of 1258

Nice rise, big volume again.

Kivver - 24 Nov 2004 16:32 - 875 of 1258

Yes its the big volume i like, could be people in the know!

gavdfc - 24 Nov 2004 17:54 - 876 of 1258

Big Al,

Do you think this is the start of maybe news starting to leak out or just a general increase in buying pre results? I remember you said that news might start to leak in the next 7 - 14 days.

Volumes have been impressive today and have been rising since Monday.

Monday - 5810450
Tuesday - 8270130
Wednesday - 16063217

Will be interesting to see what tomorrow's volumes will be like.

Cheers

Gav

Big Al - 24 Nov 2004 22:48 - 877 of 1258

Gav - dunno. Still think if they're on schedule then it's got to be getting there.

Volumes been higher on up days for quite a few weeks anyway so feel something has to give eventually. There's evidently strong interest out there as results near. Just realised my first tranche was now bought 2 months ago. That's quite a while for me! ;-))

m100 - 25 Nov 2004 08:05 - 878 of 1258

crikey - dont log in for a day, and it shot up! well okay went up a penny...if been drilling must be some prelim results coming through - rockscratchers are old hands at this sort of thing

rooandu - 25 Nov 2004 08:06 - 879 of 1258

Good morning...

Rumours flying around everywhere:

But looks like 'positive' news is due out soon:

Rumours of imminent drilling updates from Petroceltic - Daily Express

Rumours of a bullish drilling update - Times

Hope we can finally get the show rolling!!!!!!

Good luck all.
