Morning all, looks like the xmas decorations will have to wait until next year ;-(
The last few weeks have been a bit manic for me but now its just packing and a VAT return to do and then off to Gatwick for our flight to Oz this evening.
I hope everyone has a great xmas and new year break and thanks to you all for making the coffee house a fun place to spend some time.
Lambykins tells me he has a few ideas of how to smarten the place up next year but he refuses to tell me what they are.... we shall have to wait and see.
Back in the new year, have fun...

Ever open to good advice have decided to take Big Al's guidance (how on earth does he get up so early??...LOL) and withdraw to this haven of serenity and peace, and finally engage full-on recovery mode....
To sleep perchance to dream....:-)

Hello hope you all had a good xmas, we got here minus most of our luggage, the luggage decided to rejoin us this afternoon, i think it went an a day trip to New Zealand, either that or it had an extra day in Dubai.
As we didnt have any cloths we had to go out and buy a few emergency items, while the girlfriend was shopping for cloths I found a nice little laptop and bought it so now I can check that the cafe is OK even when I am away !

Sounds like I am not the only one with a cold, I have had mine for about a week, it was getting slowly better but now it seems to have turned into a chest infection so I am off to see the doctor in a couple of hours. Normally I dont go near doctors for this sort of thing but i think i might need a dose of antibiotics to shift this now.
Last time I went to the doctors in Australia I was warned that it was expensive, I went alaong waited about 1 minutes saw the doc, got a prescription and the bill came to a whole 19AUD which is well under 10.
