90p and still looking fragile.

required field - 10 Jul 2008 22:59 - 89 of 202

In keeping with the rest of the stockmarket.....very difficult to predict this one and "RNS's" can have a huge impact !.

required field - 10 Jul 2008 23:02 - 90 of 202

RF,

It should be contained and over quickly, IMO.

South Ossettia may not belong to Georgia in the future though!

Very worrying situation now, these crazy Russians will end up blowing up the main pipeline to Turkey......oil will then jump $30 in one go....Bush could end up by sending a carrier force soon...the Ruskies are looking for trouble big time !.

scotinvestor - 12 Aug 2008 00:11 - 94 of 202

estonia, poland, lithuania and latvia also sent note of major concern about russia...........just read putin speech where he wants ex cccp countries ie. ukraine, belarus, georgia etc under russia again..........oh dear, russia still thinks it can bomb and bully and rape people.....nothing much has changed in 100 years from these sickening brutal people.

i did say req field a few weeks ago when u mentioned last depression in 30s that we had stalin etc.......well we have probably someone similar if not scarier now in putin..........this could turn into a european war and usa may be foolish by trying to appease russia with iran issue as it could be too late by then

jes, if russia take over georgia and iran thing takes off, west has virtually nothing.....oil will go to 300$ as opec predicted

There is a RNS on FRR's website saying that operations are continuing as usual !.

hlyeo98 - 14 Aug 2008 08:24 - 96 of 202

As usual???

UK smallcap opening - Frontera Resources down on drilling delay - AFX

LONDON (Thomson Financial) - A disappointing operations update robbed Frontera Resources of 11 pence, at 70 pence.

Since April, the oil & gas explorer and producer has been working to return to drilling operations as soon as possible at the 'C' Prospect. However, it has encountered delays associated with obtaining the required drilling equipment in the current oil price environment.

required field - 14 Aug 2008 13:05 - 97 of 202

Not the same RNS, well, patience is required once again....the 3rd and 4th quarters are not that far away, they call the C prospect "giant", this should come right sooner or later.....as long as the pain in the neck Russians are kept at bay !.

scotinvestor - 14 Aug 2008 13:11 - 98 of 202

cant see that happening req field.......they want ukraine as their gold medal....but georgia is 1st on hitlist.....they want old soviet union back....well putin does anyway so unless u have ideas of getting rid of him, then his idealistic views will remain

scotinvestor - 14 Aug 2008 13:13 - 99 of 202

was watching russians burning down some poor old georgian guys house on tv last night.......was one of many from reports on tv......they'll be raping the women too knowing what russian men r like as they r notorious for that

required field - 14 Aug 2008 13:20 - 100 of 202

If they (the Russians) go any further the Americans will arrive,.....and there will be trouble....coming back to this unusual oil company : they do have a lot of different prospects and possibilities so I really think we could have a 3 stock here....but in time.....as long as they keep on drilling and completing wells and preparing to redrill the "C prospect" that's allright with me....now, if you ask me what the sp will do in the short term : I would not like to guess, but at the moment I'm remaining in for the long haul....same with RIFT.

required field - 14 Aug 2008 13:32 - 101 of 202

sp wise....was it something I said ?....gone down now !.

hlyeo98 - 14 Aug 2008 15:06 - 102 of 202

The Americans will not get involved apart from criticising verbally...they got enough in their hands dirty in Iraq and Afghanistan already. Furthermore Russia is a super-power.

required field - 14 Aug 2008 15:33 - 103 of 202

Perhaps not but they might supply portable anti tank missiles and stingers....to the Georgian forces....what we need is peace in the region, politicians are to blame for this small conflict, I just want FRR to get on with the drilling !.

scotinvestor - 14 Aug 2008 16:45 - 104 of 202

sorry req........russia have spies in countries now to do with energy......and as i say, putin wants georgia etc back......also ukraine will come under his radar again soon.....and putin shows no mercy

scotinvestor - 18 Aug 2008 17:12 - 105 of 202

the russians r still there.....dont seem to be budging.......ukraine could be next on hitlist.....although russia did ay they wanted to nuke poland last weekend in news.

scotinvestor - 20 Aug 2008 23:10 - 106 of 202

not surprised to see this down much further in last few days........cant see georgia situation easing for a long time....... in fact i imagine whole region to be nervous for many years to come
