Easyjet - growth to take-off (EZJ)

thestatusquo - 07 Apr 2004 17:46

draw?modeMA=Simple&enableMA=true&epic=EZ

March passenger and load figures confirm growth trend at Europe's main budget airline.

Present share price may provide a good medium term buying opportunity, given recent broker upgrades to 380pence.

Consensus EPS for Sep 04 is 20.7p, rising to 26.8p in 05, and 35.3p in 06. Given the new routes announced recently, these forecasts are probably too cautious. A PEG ratio well below 1, puts this stock in the growth-value category, and well worth holding for the next 12-24 months.

All IMHO.

Did i hear right that the Iceland lot Buager (spelling?) were interested in easy jet or have i got hold of the wrong end of the stick?

daves dazzlers - 11 Nov 2004 19:34 - 93 of 159

Stan, there was a deal a couple of weeks ago that involved icelandair buying a stake in ezj,,about 9% i think,,my be thats what you heard.

Hyphan - 11 Nov 2004 21:43 - 94 of 159

dd, Icelandair now own just over 10% as a long term investment as they believe EZJ have a bright future - and these guys know the business. It will break through 180p IMHO. Maybe tomorrow as oil is on the decline.

Stan - 11 Nov 2004 22:15 - 95 of 159

daves dazzlers - 12 Nov 2004 07:38 - 96 of 159
