Proselenes - 22 Oct 2009 11:14

.

required field - 13 Dec 2010 14:33 - 874 of 3002

I've added a lot today...never thought I'd buy so many....

TheFrenchConnection - 13 Dec 2010 14:53 - 875 of 3002

and the awful irony all being that Mr. Pros who continually berated traders for banking prematurely and loosing money, or traders sitting on their hands, and watching profits fizzle away in selling too late, could himself ,have sold @ 330 last week, and rebought today @ 260p...........Thats a 70p consideration/ but trading in hindsight is a grand thing.. So it is. .....Hence why i play the %'s .... ....l do hope for his sake this saga has a ,,,,"and they all lived happily ever after " ending ...l really do / his input on this thread has made a lot of folk a lot of money..... ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,At the end of the day its an MM stock- which says it all

cynic - 13 Dec 2010 15:07 - 876 of 3002

well done RF; you were much braver than me
petit caporal - did you top up?

ptholden - 13 Dec 2010 15:19 - 877 of 3002

Saga?

The flow test has been delayed by a week or so - hardly a big deal.

The reaction on BBs merely typifies the rush for instant financial gratification rather than patience. Whether the oil flows remains to be seen, I'm prepared for the eventuality I'd doesn't but remaining cautiously optimistic until proven otherwise.

required field - 13 Dec 2010 15:25 - 878 of 3002

Won't be selling any more now...in until result..(gulp !)....just hope that my top up is not in time proved to be reckless....

Balerboy - 13 Dec 2010 19:53 - 879 of 3002

like you cyners i resisted today .... but may weaken tomorrow if another drop continues.,.

required field - 13 Dec 2010 21:00 - 880 of 3002

Why are people selling here ?...nothing has changed....small delay on testing but so what....great opportunity to buy in.....330p down to 260p....70p drop on ?....nothing.....or is there something we don't know ?......with the massive pay zone, I would advise patience...the trouble is that delays gets investors nervous....including myself because doubts start to settle in....but reading through the rns's again this company looks like it is very well run.....I will say a little prayer tonight for good luck on the flow testing....

cynic - 14 Dec 2010 08:03 - 881 of 3002

BB - MMs must have been listening to you ..... buy now at 248

Balerboy - 14 Dec 2010 08:12 - 882 of 3002

couldn't resist any longer...bought somemore at 242p.,.

cynic - 14 Dec 2010 08:25 - 883 of 3002

and also checked with IG .... no news out other than the non-event listing

required field - 14 Dec 2010 08:52 - 884 of 3002

Bought some more.....can't believe this pullback....the trouble is doubts set in the longer this goes on......hoping for a good result here...I think we all need one.....

cynic - 14 Dec 2010 09:25 - 885 of 3002

not an easy call at all, even though common sense says that nothing at all has changed since 2 weeks ago, other than that bad weather has forced a delay in the flowtest

required field - 14 Dec 2010 09:47 - 886 of 3002

330 down to 240....one hell of a drop....glad I sold some at almost the top...now have bought a lot back....praying that this is not going to turn out to be a mistake....no sign of Proselenes at the moment....

required field - 14 Dec 2010 09:58 - 887 of 3002

Don't like the look of the chart either......rarely do things rebound sharply higher when you get a spike like that, but it could happen due the enormous potential of such a pay zone....

monacoman - 14 Dec 2010 09:58 - 888 of 3002

joining thread as I see you need some moral support at the moment. I am in these shares for modest amount and top up at 250 this morning . Do believe it will come right. Weather conditions up there must be miserable at the moment and nobody wants to make a b.....ks of it I assume.

required field - 14 Dec 2010 10:02 - 889 of 3002

Hello monacoman !.....hope you are right.....doubts are settling in with this wait...it's like being in the film "High Noon".....that classic old western....

monacoman - 14 Dec 2010 10:23 - 890 of 3002

Yes fingers crossed. I feel XEL have made all the right 'behind scenes' preparations in advance as they are very aware of what is about to happen to the sp.
I also expect EO. and NPE sp to benefit from good news from XEL

Posted on another BB an hr ago:

I thought it was quite a good one.

Mr Ian Tulloch, Port Controller at Lerwick Port Authority, Tel: 01595 692 991, he informed me that the Betty Knutsen is at present anchored approximately 1mile outside the Lerwick Port Authority area. He advised that 4 crew members disembarked the Betty Knutsen this morning, and that 3 crew are still on board.

Called Nathan at Graypen Tanker Agents, Tel: 01806 242 077, they are the Betty Knutsen shipping agents, who confirmed that 4 crew members left this morning, and that 3 crew are still on board the ship. The Betty Knutsen will head back out around 1600 after NEW relief crew have arrived from Aberdeen by 1600 today. That is why the Betty Knutsen is having a rest break.

Lastly I called and spoke to Mr. Kim Johansson, the Betty Knutsen Ships Officer, he is onboard the Betty Knutsen, Ship Tel: 004791660210 (PLEASE DO NOT CALL HIM AGAIN) he advised that four crew members did leave the Betty Knutsen this morning, and yes they are waiting for 4 new crew to arrive from Aberdeen, and YES the ship has 2,000Cubic of oil on board from the flow test/s and that the reason for the temporary return was for a minor hose pipe breakage. The Betty Knutsen is not in for repairs, they will not off load any oil, the Betty Knutsen will head back out after 1600 today, once the additional crew have arrived.

Balerboy - 14 Dec 2010 13:38 - 892 of 3002

phew.... will take with pinch of salt for now...my buy at 242 lookin good.,.

required field - 14 Dec 2010 14:29 - 893 of 3002

2000 cubic what ? feet ?..or meters ?....if this is anything to go by....the flow test is on going....and it has flowed oil.....the company seems pretty confident of developing this bentley prospect...they talk about first stage and all that so we might have a success here.....might be pretty close to being declared commercial...if we can go by the Betty blog...
