.

required field - 14 Dec 2010 09:47 - 886 of 3002

330 down to 240....one hell of a drop....glad I sold some at almost the top...now have bought a lot back....praying that this is not going to turn out to be a mistake....no sign of Proselenes at the moment....

required field - 14 Dec 2010 09:58 - 887 of 3002

Don't like the look of the chart either......rarely do things rebound sharply higher when you get a spike like that, but it could happen due the enormous potential of such a pay zone....

monacoman - 14 Dec 2010 09:58 - 888 of 3002

joining thread as I see you need some moral support at the moment. I am in these shares for modest amount and top up at 250 this morning . Do believe it will come right. Weather conditions up there must be miserable at the moment and nobody wants to make a b.....ks of it I assume.

required field - 14 Dec 2010 10:02 - 889 of 3002

Hello monacoman !.....hope you are right.....doubts are settling in with this wait...it's like being in the film "High Noon".....that classic old western....

monacoman - 14 Dec 2010 10:23 - 890 of 3002

Yes fingers crossed. I feel XEL have made all the right 'behind scenes' preparations in advance as they are very aware of what is about to happen to the sp.
I also expect EO. and NPE sp to benefit from good news from XEL

Posted on another BB an hr ago:

I thought it was quite a good one.

Mr Ian Tulloch, Port Controller at Lerwick Port Authority, Tel: 01595 692 991, he informed me that the Betty Knutsen is at present anchored approximately 1mile outside the Lerwick Port Authority area. He advised that 4 crew members disembarked the Betty Knutsen this morning, and that 3 crew are still on board.

Called Nathan at Graypen Tanker Agents, Tel: 01806 242 077, they are the Betty Knutsen shipping agents, who confirmed that 4 crew members left this morning, and that 3 crew are still on board the ship. The Betty Knutsen will head back out around 1600 after NEW relief crew have arrived from Aberdeen by 1600 today. That is why the Betty Knutsen is having a rest break.

Lastly I called and spoke to Mr. Kim Johansson, the Betty Knutsen Ships Officer, he is onboard the Betty Knutsen, Ship Tel: 004791660210 (PLEASE DO NOT CALL HIM AGAIN) he advised that four crew members did leave the Betty Knutsen this morning, and yes they are waiting for 4 new crew to arrive from Aberdeen, and YES the ship has 2,000Cubic of oil on board from the flow test/s and that the reason for the temporary return was for a minor hose pipe breakage. The Betty Knutsen is not in for repairs, they will not off load any oil, the Betty Knutsen will head back out after 1600 today, once the additional crew have arrived.

required field - 14 Dec 2010 14:29 - 893 of 3002

2000 cubic what ? feet ?..or meters ?....if this is anything to go by....the flow test is on going....and it has flowed oil.....the company seems pretty confident of developing this bentley prospect...they talk about first stage and all that so we might have a success here.....might be pretty close to being declared commercial...if we can go by the Betty blog...

Balerboy - 14 Dec 2010 19:17 - 894 of 3002

The LOI anticipates that XER and BAOL will enter into a definitive agreement ("Agreement") for the rig by 15 December 2010, following which the Rowan Norway is expected to be available to commence the first stage production ("FSP") on the Bentley field in the fourth quarter of 2011. The LOI provides for a termination fee of US$2.5 million payable by XER in the event it does not enter into the Agreement by this date. The initial commitment period of 240 days will facilitate the drilling of up to six wells on the Bentley field as part of the anticipated three year FSP.

could be interesting tomorrow.,.

Balerboy - 15 Dec 2010 07:53 - 895 of 3002

could be a while for test to take place if weather is bad, no rns about Rowan Norway, perhaps later today.

I wish they would get on with it.....if it goes pear shaped .....heavens forbid : I will be back to square one......a goodflow and we all benefit.....never thought it would be so low just before this crucial test.....

WEAZEL - 15 Dec 2010 14:13 - 901 of 3002

Balerboy - 15 Dec 2010 14:28 - 902 of 3002

required field - 15 Dec 2010 14:43 - 903 of 3002

Topped up again.....just ridiculous now.....into the 220's now.....105p drop from the top.....

required field - 15 Dec 2010 14:46 - 904 of 3002
