Petroceltic International, Good prospects 25pence soon (PCI)

inbs - 23 Dec 2003 22:02

New Projects and good prospects. will be the winner in 2004. IMO
25p in early 2004

rooandu - 25 Nov 2004 20:28 - 888 of 1258

m100...ref 881...I know the feeling...but it will be worth it!!

Big Al - 25 Nov 2004 21:50 - 889 of 1258

rooandu - quit ramping.

People are either in or out. If you're in, set your stop-loss and stick with it. If others are out, they'll never move the price by sticking a post on here!

;-)

pinechris - 25 Nov 2004 23:59 - 890 of 1258

In the Express today, 25th, if they strike oil it will be worth 22p per share, bought in this morning before I had seen the snip in the paper. Holding PET as well, waiting for ever for something to happen there as are a lot of others, especially PET!

Big Al...quit deramping...thanks.

Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 08:56 - 892 of 1258

LOL!

rooandu - 26 Nov 2004 09:09 - 893 of 1258

Pinechris...just look at evo's recent report and you'll see 22p is an understimate to say the least...where did they get 22p from?...it does not in anyway reflect the true value of the pci...evo states 32p with or without oil at ST (plus all the other projects that pci are working on)...if there's oil discovered at ST evo believes the price should be in and around the 65p mark but this is dependent on a number of factors including the actual qty of recoverable oil found... of course, this does not take in to account sentiment which I'm sure will play a big part in the actual level of sp once news good or bad is known.

I for one (and it's my personal opinion only) believe we'll find oil and lots of it and we'll all be winners in the end. But as they say DYOR (Advfn always presents a good insight in to arguments for and against).

Good luck to all and hope we start to see the price moving northwards we have been wiating for...very soon!

Big Al,

Thanks for your thoughts the other day. Since we haven't heard anything about a delay then I would assume that we are still on track. Reading around the boards, I see that rumours are flying everywhere. To be expected I suppose, but not placing any credability on them.

2 months for you, this will be a long hold for you! ;-) Been in since June with 2 buys at 7.68 and 10.98 in July. Sitting on a good profit so have my stops in place.

As to the rumour of the sell going through of 8m, don't believe that. If true then why would someone on a BB know.

Cheers

Gav

Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 12:26 - 897 of 1258

Gav,

I see PCI as a buy/sell on whatever news comes out of the current well, not on any rumour around the BB's and especially not on any rumour around large trades. That's why I'm long! ;-)) I don't see 8m as particularly something that can't be swallowed either way given average daily volumes.

gavdfc - 26 Nov 2004 12:50 - 898 of 1258

Al,

Agree PCI will soar or tank on results of Sidi. If the wells dry then I will be out. Yes there are other prospects, Italy and Algeria, however they won't come into play until next year. So if Sidi is dry then I will be out with my profit and may come back in next year.

As far as BB rumours go, I don't believe anything that I read. Will leave them for other boards! Sidi result will move us on either way, up or down.

rooandu - 26 Nov 2004 14:14 - 899 of 1258

In since last since last November at 2.2 and will be in for a while either +/- news from ST...good potential for 2005 for certain...so don't miss out guys ;-)

Big Al - 26 Nov 2004 15:39 - 900 of 1258

MM's having a laff this afternoon. <4m traded? Chancers. ;-))

chinapete - 26 Nov 2004 15:39 - 901 of 1258

rooandu - only just read your posting -Are you in or out as I thought you had sold your lot? Very much in. I did get out in profit then got in again at 18.35. Nothing else looked so exiting or so full of promise. Well we girls often change our minds. I can't believe that they won't go over 19p before the RNS, but they've got me worried. I can go to 12p on a dry well before I make a real loss.

rooandu - 26 Nov 2004 16:45 - 902 of 1258

chinapete...I sympathise with you totally...we can only hope and pray that all works in our favour...good luck :-)

rooandu - 26 Nov 2004 16:53 - 903 of 1258

looks like the 998's are rollovers...sell/buy back.

Petroceltic to take off soon
FASTEN your seat-belts,the share price of Petroceltic International, is about totake off.

The Irish oil and gas company has commenced drilling operations at the Sidi Toui 3 well in Southern Tunisia. The objective of this drilling is to conclusively establish the presence of hydrocarbons at the large Sidi Toui structure, which has been estimated to contain potential oil reserves of 400m barrels.

The well is being drilled to a total depth of 1,300 metres, and so results are likely to be available within the next two weeks. With the oil price continuing to remain at very high levels, any progress made is likely to result in substantial further upside for the company's share price from its current stg0.17p level.
From the Independent today, good luck all.goal

goal - how can you say this? the 100/150k selling is unrelenting. Stop hyping unless you know something we don't. It's just whistling in the dark to keep your spirits up. Take a look at the Pan Andean board. Full of the same kind of pointless comments, right up to the share price nose dive.

Parsonsmead - 29 Nov 2004 10:34 - 906 of 1258

Got to agree with chinapete, if there are no facts then it is, by definition, ramping/deramping/speculation. Also look at Sterling Energy board to see how newspapers can get it wrong.

Chinapete,

Don't know about you but it seems as though these 100/150k blocks are the same one going through time and time again. Its worse than counting sheep! Look at it again this morning, up 0.75p, then back to square 1 - very frustrating, but in the absence of an RNS one way or the other this is what we will continue to see I guess. Anything less than official news from PCI is not worth anything at this stage. In the meantime we keep waiting...
