Just one comment from me about this thread as opposed to the original one. The original chart attack thread had all of the relevant charts in the header, which admittedly took a while to load, but was very convenient for when looking for investment ideas or adding our own comments. On the new thread, once the page is full and the next page loads, I have a feeling people won't want to go trawling through previous pages to find charts/data. Having a single page for charts seems like a pretty good idea to me, but I may be in the minority. (am happy to open the chart attack page in a different tab & just wait for a minute.) I suppose it's impossible to keep everyone happy!

goldfinger - 26 Mar 2013 16:28 - 92 of 2763

Hasnt shown up yet Skinny on this list. 15 mins behind. STRANGE.

goldfinger - 26 Mar 2013 16:36 - 93 of 2763

Well I did ask for ideas and comments Harry on the old thread before changing over to the new one. Nobody and I mean nobody other than Fred and Dil voted to retain that thread whereas cynic and a handfull of twitter tweeters (about 6) voted for new format.

I do post it up their.

Sorry but that group won.

goldfinger - 26 Mar 2013 16:44 - 94 of 2763

Hmmmm might just have found a corker. Just look at the number of attempts to breakout. Supply of stock above 460p maybe exhausted after all this time. Could be one hell of a move up.

Think Mark Slater is a big holder here.

cynic - 26 Mar 2013 16:52 - 95 of 2763

tiny volume and a chinese stock albeit with one of the famous hongs seemingly associated ....... dangerous territory in the extreme

halifax - 26 Mar 2013 16:58 - 96 of 2763

cynic majority owned by Hutchinson their PE is amazing...... avoid.

cynic - 26 Mar 2013 17:04 - 97 of 2763

i think you and i share similar views on chinese stocks ..... how heavy the p/e?

halifax - 26 Mar 2013 17:07 - 98 of 2763

cynic looks like around 2-300, big sales ... small profits, we leave it you to guess why!

cynic - 26 Mar 2013 17:30 - 99 of 2763

chuckle chuckle chuckle

sticky - don't get suckered

goldfinger - 26 Mar 2013 18:17 - 100 of 2763

Cyners if it doesnt breakout its good for a range play then. 410p support.

On laptop at moment outside so cant get to check P/E.

Slaters fund holds it. Cant think theyd swallow a wrong un up even if it is Chinese. Know what you mean tho due diligence....not.

cynic - 26 Mar 2013 20:20 - 101 of 2763

confess i cannot think of a single chinese stock in which i would care to risk my money - but that has been my long-held view

goldfinger - 27 Mar 2013 08:49 - 102 of 2763

Further to run here after todays contract win.....

cynic - 27 Mar 2013 10:02 - 108 of 2763

sticky - i like those central market notes; just occasionally there's a stock on there that i actually follow

==============

DOMINO'S PIZZA
strange old stock that one ...... almost regardless of the strength of the figures, sp invariably slumps on the results ...... i hear (haven't been brave enough to try!) the product is pretty nasty - so is Subway i am told - the company supports its franchisees well and is high profile .... more to the point, the company knows its market and is very successful in exploiting it

shame it's so margin-heavy
