Cap @ $28m. Int results to June 2006 :- T/O $22m ; profit before tax $2.2m ; gross margins 50.3% ; EPS 7.8 cents ; dividend 2.38 cents.

Nice 7.5% rise so far, with a mkt cap of 22m it doesn't take much to move the sp, looking good.

Excellent rise of 12.5% today. At the interims in august (1/2 year to june) management were bullish for the full year :-

Not so much prompting steveo, more commenting on the sp as it improved, a bit like now really--- up another 6p atm, must be a buyer in the wings. Let's not forget that AFS was over 280p 18months ago, as for steady rises I say the bigger the better.

Getting up to my "fair value" figure of 150p more quickly than expected. Await next set of figures with more interest than usual.

partridge--------A good day yesterday and another today, albeit on low volume today. End of year is 31/12/07 so looking good. I believe this is a sound growth stock.

2517..Guess with a fairly illiquid stock it is not easy to deal in large volumes and ratio of buyers/sellers still leaves me with a comfortable feeling.Figures to end of Dec will hopefully show that on fundamentals it remains good value.

AFS has broken through 2 year resistance levels of around 180p and hopefully will continue upwards, there certainly appears to be some momentum behind them.

Encouraging trading update today.

Yes revenue forecast above expectations at 56m+ which is good news, however they stated that the rise in raw material costs and US dollar weakness are putting pressures on its margins and financial expenses, so perhaps profits will not increase at the same rate.

Reccomended today in Money Week as best stock in the water sector. Picked up a few more before the MMs read the article I think. Now up 13p on the day. One very happy punter.
