Good evening all.

Jeffers, don't count your chickens!

stockbunny - 17 Jan 2006 10:26 - 9038 of 24230

Morning - I see the coffee house was relegated to the 2nd page of threads again this morning - everyone off in sunnier climes?
Oh well tea and coffee is on for those of us still left in the grey damp weather.

optomistic - 17 Jan 2006 10:47 - 9039 of 24230

It's sunny here in Yorkshire Bunny (just a little) Tea and danish please, always a favourite whatever the weather :-)

stockbunny - 17 Jan 2006 11:12 - 9040 of 24230

True and did you notice that in the background I have playing on the jukebox that happy if slightly annoying record to brighten the day even if the weather can't be asked....

"Don't worry be happy, don't worry be happy now....do-do-do-do-dodo-da-do-da-do-deda-do-dodadoda-do-dda-do....dooooooooooo....Domt' worry be happy now....Here's a little song I wrote, you might want to sing it note for note, don't worry, be happy......."

optomistic - 17 Jan 2006 11:17 - 9041 of 24230

optomistic - 17 Jan 2006 15:33 - 9051 of 24230

Later Fundy, strong talk about 2 (not expecting that too soon) what do you think?
btw. did you go back in eventually.

Fundamentalist - 17 Jan 2006 15:41 - 9052 of 24230

Still on the sidelines opto

Liked todays trading statement but have to still be convinced they are going to generate decent profits from the CNP side of the business (ie organic growth) where again the news was less positive "had a slightly better
second half of the year compared to the first half". Again the good news is coming from the fuel card business, which whilst still positive, would not be as positive as if it had been coming from CNP growth as this is where the huge gains could potentially be made. Based on growth from the fuel card and acqusitions i cant justify a Pe of 20. Wouldnt be surprised to see the SP repeat previous years with a rise as results become nearer and unless results are amazing a dip back again afterwards

Cant complain though, had a nice rise on DNX and a cracking set of interims from HDG (worth a look for a long term buy and hold)
