That's another weekend over and done with, back to graft in the morning. Please put the kettle on about 16:30 tomorrow.

Goodnight all.

jeffmack - 05 Feb 2006 23:22 - 9305 of 24230

stockbunny - 06 Feb 2006 09:52 - 9306 of 24230

Morning All! :>)
Brekkies on the go for anyone up and about.

Jeffie - don't tell me you didn't win the lottery draw this week?
and there was me hoping to get a motorised carrot........
;>)

jeffmack - 06 Feb 2006 10:40 - 9307 of 24230

No such luck Bunny, would have been great to escape the rat race

jj50 - 06 Feb 2006 10:50 - 9308 of 24230

Never mind, jeffmack - saved you all those decisions about
what to do with the winnings!!

Double capuccino for me please and a warm danish :-)

stockbunny - 06 Feb 2006 11:55 - 9309 of 24230

Yeah I know, great dream though, load up motorised carrot and disappear over the nearest horizon to who knows where......well in fact regardless of which way I went due to the fact we are an island I guess I'd end up getting pretty wet as I'd drive off the end somewhere! LOL

Would have to have it customised, james bond style so it floated as well.....mind you it wouldn't have been a problem HAD our Jeffie won, would have been enough for a little for each of us without hampering his jetset life style
;>)

Hello all, one has arrived. One has left ones entourage on the bus and taken a short cut through ones alleyway. Time for tea and toast methinks.

optomistic - 06 Feb 2006 16:49 - 9311 of 24230

Good evening one, I also have just arrived. Will join you in the tea and toast, melba perhaps.

STORMCALLER - 07 Feb 2006 00:51 - 9312 of 24230

Oh dear was going to drop in this morning.......only just caught up with all the posts.......too late for tea I suppose.......bugger!

And to make matters worse my supplier has run out of DP '96....apparently people are DRINKING it......what a waste.....won't be at it's best for at least a year..:-((

Guess I will just have to make do with my remaining stock of '95.....still quite good..:-))

Fundamentalist - 07 Feb 2006 00:58 - 9313 of 24230

Evening stormy

long time no speak - hope all is well

did i hear a DP cork popping?

STORMCALLER - 07 Feb 2006 01:03 - 9314 of 24230

Your hearing is exceptional sir.....of course you did, and plenty to share..:-)
All is well, thank you....I hope the same applies!

Fundamentalist - 07 Feb 2006 01:04 - 9315 of 24230

Indeed it does stormy - life is treating us pretty well at the moment - a glass of DP should sharpen me up nicely for the cricket im trading :-)

STORMCALLER - 07 Feb 2006 01:07 - 9316 of 24230

Naturally it is in perfect condition, and an ideal accompaniment to some late-night trading.....mind you I've quit for the day....already lost my target..LOLOL
Glad to hear things are going well....this should keep you on form...cheers!!

STORMCALLER - 07 Feb 2006 01:24 - 9317 of 24230

Oops...just noticed the time....big day tomorrow so I had better go
Tidied up as best I can, mustn't leave my usual mess or Bunny will kill me..:-)
Have left bottle for Fundy though.....trading at this time of night...tut tut....LOL
Gotta blow
G'night

Socrates - 07 Feb 2006 16:31 - 9318 of 24230

Hi all, Socco breezes in, late as usual. Raining here so had a chance to try out my windscreen wipers, first time for ages.

Any tea in the pot?

optomistic - 07 Feb 2006 17:44 - 9319 of 24230

Socco it's been in the pot so long it's like tar!!

Socrates - 07 Feb 2006 18:12 - 9320 of 24230

Tar very much, I'll have a cup.

little willie - 07 Feb 2006 21:40 - 9321 of 24230

Hullloooo,
'Cor, a cuppa British rosy; that'll do me. Anybody tried Roibus tea, herbalplants leaves and its what these Afrikaaners drink; no toxins or caffeine so can't see the point of drinking it. As Spike used to say, "You've gotta die of something".
I drink one cup of it every morning, no sugar or milk so I'll either be super dooper fit or I'll drop dead.

Sweet Revenge hasn't run since her win before Xmas as she's had "the virus" but good news is that she's now A1 and subject to getting in the draw will run within a fortnight.

It won't be a handicap so her win won't have an adverse affect.
I'll drop a line when I know more.

Very hot here, actually too hot. I've had a mob out from the UK and yesterday
they were all playing golf but walked in after 9 holes with fatigue; it was 42 degrees with hardly a breeze. I said "wimps" but was really glad to pack in and use the pool instead; mind, that is 84 degrees so hardly a chiller.

Cold chenin seemed to lower the temps tho'.

Night all, 2 hrs ahead here so bed beckons.
Cheers All

stockbunny - 08 Feb 2006 11:29 - 9322 of 24230
