I'm late in tonight, there was the wrong kind of snow on-line. No e-mail either. All back and working now so I thought I would pop in, serve myself a large bowl of sherry trifle and put my feet up to warm in front of the log fire.
Poor old Spacie, too cream crackered to spend all your his hard come by fortune. He will just have to put it away in the bank in case he manages to survive to spend it all.
I'll keep a nice cosy place by the fire for him, there's nothing like a good kip to shake off jet lag.

Good morning all, bright and crisp day here in the Cotswolds.
Just had a look at my portfolio, shock horror. LLOY up 25p yesterday! I'm not used to such things, must have mistakenly bought at the right time.

Socs, wow, I always thought the idea was buy a share and sell it some time later when the price was lower and use the money lost as a reminder about how bad I am at stare trading?
You seem to have hit upon a different and very interesting strategy? !

Spacie - Believe me, it's a novelty for me too. I do seem to have struck lucky with LLOY though, I had no idea they would show improved figures, I was hoping for that or that the rumoured takeover might materialise. Still might of course.
Just had lunch, Chinese, again.

Rugby! ZZZzzzzzz.......
Somebody mention tea? I'm up for that.
Good morning JJ and Opto, so nice to have some company on a Sunday morning.
Just had a lovely time going through some photos e-mailed to me by my little boy and his wife, currently in India. Did I say little, he's 36! The sun seems to shine out there, a bit.
Now I must get down to some family research on the genealogy sites, good fun finding out what ones ancestors were about. Farmers, gentlemen, paupers! Sounds familiar.
