I would love a windmill. I would put a generator in it and sell eccentricity to the national grid. More tea vicar?

Good morning all, its the stranger from far away dropping in to say "Hi".
I failed you all miserably a fortnight ago when I failed to tell that Sweet Revenge was running again at Arlington, Port Elizabeth.
She ran over 1300 metres, 17 horse race and won, going away 3 lengths at S.P.of 6-1, so that's two on the trot [so to speak!].
She runs again tommorrow [Wed] at Fairview, Port Elizabeth at about 15.05?
It's over slightly longer distance of 1600 metres, she's gone up with the handicapper 5 kilos and her rating has also gone up to a MR of 78.
All of which means she's running against ever increasingly good horses and I think tommorrow she takes on 11 others.
Nic Classen who trains her in P.E. has decided to put his leading apprentice on her
as he claims 4 kilos, all this means she'll be carrying an extra kilo but won't have the jockey I like [Byefeld] riding her.
Will she do the business?
Nic is very confident and has advised me to have some dosh on her but I won't.
She's now won twice without me having a bet so I think superstition comes into it!
There was a very good article about her in the Racing Post recently so what the future holds, who knows?

Morning all, kettles on and hope to have a few danish spare, missed mine yesterday.
Visit to the accountant this morning as the friendly Inland Revenue sent me a penalty notice for 100 because I didn't file my Self Assessment form in time for 2005. I thought LAST May would have been early enough!

No pancakes for me thank you, I'll stick to the sherry trifle. Someone else can have my share.
Been snowing here today, none stuck so no sliding for me tonight.

Tough luck with the snow Socco, perhaps you will have a good 'slur' tomorrow.
Sherry trifle, always a goog idea. Coupled with chocolate gateaux is my favourite.
Talking about chocolate, chocco has not been around much recently :-(

RACE 5: MR 72 HANDICAP 1600M
ROSE GYPSY was slow into stride over 1800m on this track last time out, but did well to stay on for fourth, just 1.85 lengths behind SUPERCOOL (1kg worse off), that day. She held on hard ridden to win her penultimate outing over this trip and must be considered here. The latter was also slow into stride last time out but then ran on strongly to win by a length. She has suffered a two pound penalty since, but is again well drawn and must be included here, despite dropping in distance. SWEET REVENGE comes here in search of a hat-trick as she ran on well to win over 1300m at Arlington last time out, but has been raised five pounds since. It is also worth pointing out that she flopped in her only attempt over today's trip. LUSH was well ridden to win her latest outing over 2000m on this track and is much better treated on these weight terms and comes into the reckoning, despite dropping in distance.
FORECAST BETTING: 2/1 Rose Gypsy, 4/1 Lush, 5/1 Supercool, 7/1 Bar & Better.
SELECTIONS: (6) Lush, (8) Supercool, (5) Rose Gypsy
