Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Socrates - 04 Mar 2006 08:49 - 9619 of 24230

Happy Saturday one and all. Bright and sunny here in regency Cheltenham. Birds are singing and there is the gentle aroma of FEB in the air. I'll have double everything please.

optomistic - 04 Mar 2006 08:59 - 9620 of 24230

Happy Saturday to you Socco, covered in snow and ice here, main roads clear though.

jj50 - 04 Mar 2006 09:40 - 9621 of 24230

Morning opto, Socs and safe journey wherever you are Spacey!

Looks like a pile of dirty pans in here .... SOCS! :-)

Tessa Jowell just split from her husband - wonder if she will still have that big smile on her face - sounds like he will be up before the Italian Authorities this week but its hard to feel sympathy for her. Amazing how long politicians with questionable backgrounds seem to be able to hang on in politics these days. Oh well.

Sunny here, snow on ground still - have a good day ..

Socrates - 04 Mar 2006 11:25 - 9622 of 24230

Not my pans jj, I used all disposable ones, I don't believe in washing up. I'm off out now, weekly trolley race about to start, back later. [|:-)

StonyB - 04 Mar 2006 17:06 - 9623 of 24230

Regency Cheltenham eh? That must be near the Pump'n'Dump Room.

Socrates - 04 Mar 2006 19:04 - 9624 of 24230

Yes, not too far. My advice, don't drink the water!

Lambykins - 04 Mar 2006 19:24 - 9625 of 24230

chocolat - 04 Mar 2006 19:31 - 9626 of 24230

What you need is a lambing party :)

jj50 - 04 Mar 2006 22:38 - 9627 of 24230

Thought Lambykins had got the chop :-)

Evening choccie:-) Long time no see!

chocolat - 04 Mar 2006 22:40 - 9628 of 24230

Indeedy jj!
High time it is too.

jj50 - 04 Mar 2006 22:45 - 9629 of 24230

:-) choccie!

Am off to pour a "real" drink - I'll pour one for you whilst I am at it!
This snowy weather requires a considerable increase in the alcohol
and chocolate intake level!

chocolat - 04 Mar 2006 22:54 - 9630 of 24230

Thanks jj - now I know why I've considerably increased today :)

jj50 - 04 Mar 2006 22:56 - 9631 of 24230

That's the excuse for today anyway .... tomorrow's may be
rain, wind ..... we'll find something :-)

chocolat - 04 Mar 2006 23:01 - 9632 of 24230

I'll save the bruised botty one until tomorrow then.

Socrates - 05 Mar 2006 09:39 - 9633 of 24230

Good morning one and all. Another bright sunny day in Cheltenham, cold still, but no snow.

Choccy, missed you again. Must meet up for a hammock session sometime.

Time for a mid morning bevvy, I'll get the kettle on.

jj50 - 05 Mar 2006 09:48 - 9634 of 24230

Morning Socs ... and the kettles on - great:-)

Bacon butties on the grill .......

Socrates - 05 Mar 2006 14:49 - 9635 of 24230

jj - Good afternoon to you. I missed you this morning, had to go to an antiques fair. Managed to escape without buying anything, except a tank full of petrol. Now time for lunch and I think a couple of braised Cumberland Sausages will do nicely.

Spaceman - 06 Mar 2006 11:41 - 9636 of 24230

Greetings from a very hot and humid Cyberjaya, its 19:40 here and the temperature is 28C.

I made a mistake this morning and walked to the office which is about 10 mins walk, by the time I got there i was soaking in sweat, the temperature was 35C ....

StonyB - 06 Mar 2006 13:58 - 9637 of 24230

Soc - re the Pump Room. Yes, I avoided the water. Had already made mistakes on that score imbibing various sulphorous concoctions elsewhere, so gave it a miss. Enjoyed a few concerts there though.

Socrates - 06 Mar 2006 23:33 - 9638 of 24230

Concerts in the Pump Room, very civilised.

Very quiet here this evening. I requisitioned the comfy chair and dozed off by the fire, all on my own. Dreamed of Chocolat in the hammock, not a patch on the real thing.

I'm feeling a little drowsy now so it's up the wooden hill to Bedfordshire for me. Goodnight all, happy investing tomorrow.
