Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

hilary - 08 Mar 2006 16:44 - 9659 of 24230

I'll be cheering Benfica, Dazzler. The Mickey Mousers are only in it by default.

Socrates - 08 Mar 2006 16:48 - 9660 of 24230

Hello all. I wasn't missing yesterday, just dozing in the comfy chair. Bad day on the market today, red sky at night and all that.

Racing coming up soon, my signal to keep away from the wall to wall traffic jams. I'm easy to recognise Jeffers, I wear a Tilley hat in all weathers and I'm excessively good looking (for a 64 year old git, that is).

chocolat - 08 Mar 2006 16:54 - 9661 of 24230

Blimey charlie, is it too too early for the hammock?

Socrates - 08 Mar 2006 19:16 - 9662 of 24230

Never too early for the hammock. I need to have a rest now, just been out trolley racing at Morrisons.

jeffmack - 08 Mar 2006 22:07 - 9663 of 24230

Socs, you should get yourself and Mrs Socs down to the races for the day.

Socrates - 08 Mar 2006 23:09 - 9664 of 24230

No racing for me Jeffers, tried it once and didn't like it, her-indoors not too keen on it either. Usually a very busy time for me when the races are on.

STORMCALLER - 09 Mar 2006 00:54 - 9665 of 24230

I do wish this place didn't keep moving about.....I got lost enough at the best of times without having to cope with mobile buildings?!@!
Time to crack a bottle of fizz after a good day!
Well alright the shares went down the pan.....but I had a day of practicing "day-trading"......and didn't lose any money......astounding!!!

Cheers!

opto, re "When this project finished I think I will give it all up and become a monk, obviously it will be the sort of monk thats not celibate, eats and drinks whatever I want, has lots of holidays and who is an atheist? Anyone know such an order?"

Try the Zen buddhists.

Turning cold again here and it looks like it will rain again.

Soon be lunchtime.

Socco's in, time for a trifle and pot of Darjeeling.

Spaceman - 10 Mar 2006 05:01 - 9669 of 24230

Nearly the weekend 5 more hours at work, I am in an empty office at the moment everyone has a 2 hour lunch break in KL on Fridays...

Flying home Tuesday Morning, yipee.

Looking forward to another bucket of trifle and signing up to become a Zen Buddist.

stockbunny - 10 Mar 2006 11:43 - 9670 of 24230

Oh gawd Spacie - does that mean more food restrictions?
I hope you're not going to re-arrange the furniture and go all minimal on us?
Just don't go all 'fruitarian' on me and refuse anything that hasn't naturally
'died' on your plate! LOL
;>)

optomistic - 10 Mar 2006 14:47 - 9671 of 24230

Should be time for a tea break. Sherry trifle becoming very popular, will have the customary dollup of that....I'm not driving.

optomistic - 10 Mar 2006 16:36 - 9672 of 24230

Certainly won't need cleaning up in here today, bye all. (hello Socco when you arrive)

Socrates - 10 Mar 2006 16:40 - 9673 of 24230

Hello Opto, popped in before even looking at my portfolio, can't do without a pot of tea and soupson of sherry trifle.

Zen buddist! Wasn't Zen a computer in Blake's Seven. (Anyone who knows what I'm talking about must be older than they care to admit)!

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 06:44 - 9674 of 24230

March is a good time for a FEB.

Spaceman - 11 Mar 2006 07:17 - 9675 of 24230

Buuny no new food restrictions acceptable to me the other Zen guys will have to change if they dont like it, obviously lamb remains firmly off the menu

Hot day in KLCC today moved into town last night after work as the other hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Hadnt realised how tired I was until last night, I had 8 hours sleep and other than a quick trip for breakfast I have spent most of the day snoozing! its now 1510 and I am off out for a bit of shopping.

Could someone arrange for the weather to warm up now to about 20C for my arrival home on Tuesday morning?

Have a good weekend.

Socs very true and April and May ...........

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 07:28 - 9676 of 24230

Spaceman
Sorry, the temperature forecast for Tuesday is for a heatwave of about 2 degrees Centilpede. So when you get on the plane, don't worry about what other passengers think, wear your long-johns and pully.

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 19:44 - 9677 of 24230

I see the usual crowd are in tonight.

jeffmack - 11 Mar 2006 20:07 - 9678 of 24230
