English mate.

goldfinger - 11 Sep 2013 16:39 - 968 of 2763

Cheers for clearing that up Chris.

Alex Young was Scottish wasnt he, tallish inside forward blonde/a bit red hair, Im sure I saw him playing at the end of his career with a non leaugue club. Just cant remember where now.

goldfinger - 11 Sep 2013 17:22 - 969 of 2763

Quite a few of my recent charts are doing very well. Im amazed given its september.

I suppose the dog is THT but they were very good results and just think its a temporary glitch. Mind still up on when I posted it last weekend.

Trying to find stocks that are out of inbalance with the market and oversold. Best not go for them if your a long termer.

Strange how one changes over the years. I used to be a contrarian value investor 10 years back and never touched charts.

You can always tell the good investors/traders as they are still here posting. So many and I mean a lot have left the business over the years and some of them were very well thought of aswel.

goldfinger - 13 Sep 2013 08:28 - 970 of 2763

Doing well since I caught this at the bottom......... more to come imo.

Hi GF. Have been looking at OCG. Mostly sell trades at 141/142 today. Do you think this is a good entry point?

skinny - 13 Sep 2013 15:41 - 972 of 2763

Not everyone's type of share - I hold these.

SEPTEMBER MARKETS,

goldfinger - 13 Sep 2013 16:34 - 974 of 2763

DAVID L , keep your brass in your back pocket whilst september is over.

Its September be carefull.

skinny - 13 Sep 2013 16:35 - 975 of 2763

No - I'm long - just that its not really a traders share.

david lucas - 15 Sep 2013 22:14 - 976 of 2763

Thanks SK for your thoughts! Have you any suggestions for other companies to look into. I am just into charting etc so help is very welcome.

skinny - 16 Sep 2013 11:23 - 977 of 2763

One of my yielders looking bullish.

david lucas - 16 Sep 2013 22:15 - 978 of 2763

Hi Skinny
The RSI on GLI is in a rising trend and steep too. So will watch this tomorrow. Noticed that the spread is quite tight so that is also a good sign.

goldfinger - 17 Sep 2013 16:31 - 979 of 2763

GLIF broken out of the Jan downward trend channel skinny aswel. Nice one.

goldfinger - 17 Sep 2013 16:32 - 980 of 2763

Support and resistance at 6600 yesterday. Will take something extra to break resistance at 6700 achieved at the height yesterday. I remain sat on the fence not opening NEW positions just adds.

Another one of my boring yielders.

cynic - 18 Sep 2013 09:32 - 983 of 2763

is it my imagination or are the majority of stocks touted (in the least pejorative sense) on here are very small and/or illiquid?

skinny - 18 Sep 2013 09:53 - 984 of 2763

Certainly a lot of the yielders I post are normally thinly traded - but they are (for me) a buy and hold - I only post them if they are trending/breaking out.

Plenty of others on here are readily traded - CLLN, DDD in the recent posts.

david lucas - 18 Sep 2013 10:06 - 985 of 2763

I agree SK. Most trade well and especially CLLN was a great trade, as was IMG a couple of weeks ago. I like to buy and hold as well as trade so a well covered dividend is a good comfort!

goldfinger - 18 Sep 2013 14:09 - 986 of 2763

skinny whats your take on IQE today and the sell volume please.

Do you think its just profit taking or something more sinister?.
