stockbunny - 10 Mar 2006 11:43 - 9670 of 24230

Oh gawd Spacie - does that mean more food restrictions?
I hope you're not going to re-arrange the furniture and go all minimal on us?
Just don't go all 'fruitarian' on me and refuse anything that hasn't naturally
'died' on your plate! LOL
;>)

optomistic - 10 Mar 2006 14:47 - 9671 of 24230

Should be time for a tea break. Sherry trifle becoming very popular, will have the customary dollup of that....I'm not driving.

optomistic - 10 Mar 2006 16:36 - 9672 of 24230

Certainly won't need cleaning up in here today, bye all. (hello Socco when you arrive)

Socrates - 10 Mar 2006 16:40 - 9673 of 24230

Hello Opto, popped in before even looking at my portfolio, can't do without a pot of tea and soupson of sherry trifle.

Zen buddist! Wasn't Zen a computer in Blake's Seven. (Anyone who knows what I'm talking about must be older than they care to admit)!

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 06:44 - 9674 of 24230

March is a good time for a FEB.

Spaceman - 11 Mar 2006 07:17 - 9675 of 24230

Buuny no new food restrictions acceptable to me the other Zen guys will have to change if they dont like it, obviously lamb remains firmly off the menu

Hot day in KLCC today moved into town last night after work as the other hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Hadnt realised how tired I was until last night, I had 8 hours sleep and other than a quick trip for breakfast I have spent most of the day snoozing! its now 1510 and I am off out for a bit of shopping.

Could someone arrange for the weather to warm up now to about 20C for my arrival home on Tuesday morning?

Have a good weekend.

Socs very true and April and May ...........

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 07:28 - 9676 of 24230

Spaceman
Sorry, the temperature forecast for Tuesday is for a heatwave of about 2 degrees Centilpede. So when you get on the plane, don't worry about what other passengers think, wear your long-johns and pully.

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 19:44 - 9677 of 24230

I see the usual crowd are in tonight.

jeffmack - 11 Mar 2006 20:07 - 9678 of 24230

Dont you know it socco

Socrates - 11 Mar 2006 21:02 - 9679 of 24230

Wow! Company. Hi Jeffers, have you popped in for the black velvet?

Socrates - 12 Mar 2006 08:59 - 9680 of 24230

Good morning, woken up to a snow covered Cheltenham. A FEB is an absolute must on a parky morning like this morning.

Jeffmack
If you are coming to Cheltenham for the racing, pack some real warm clothes. Forecast shows it is going to be near freezing all week so it will be brass monkey conditions out in the open. Overnight conditions frquently freezing so there might be cancellations too. Hope it all goes well though.

Socrates - 12 Mar 2006 09:07 - 9681 of 24230

Thinks! I wonder if I will see Jeffmacks private jet at the airport next week.

jeffmack - 12 Mar 2006 11:20 - 9682 of 24230

Cheers Socs
Most of my time during racing is spent in the Arkle Bar. Occaisionally pop out to see a horse.

Last year at Cheltenham I came but with a tan.

Spaceman - 12 Mar 2006 14:12 - 9683 of 24230

Afternoon all, Against my better judgement I went on a tourist trip today to see a Hindu Temple and a couple of other bits of tourist stuff, The temple is in some limestone caves up 272 steep steps and when I got ther it was full of tat just like the other places, and to make things worse the place was overrun with those horrible monkeys that grab food and sit round scratching their balls!.....

Would not have been so bad had it not been about 30C and very high humidity, when I got to the top I thought I was melting, Spaceman is not currently at the peak of fitness the additional 3+ stone he had to drag up the steps probably didnt help ;-)

Iain - 12 Mar 2006 19:40 - 9684 of 24230

I took the trouble to listen to this:About the 5000th time
C`mon Space! Are you serious about the rest of your life :)

jeffmack - 13 Mar 2006 09:01 - 9685 of 24230

Good morning
No work this week, b/day today and Cheltenham next 4 days. Oh joy

stockbunny - 13 Mar 2006 10:31 - 9686 of 24230

Morning Folks,
no work for JM this week - the wheels of commerce will fall off in his absence so we'd better get him back there pronto ;>)
Spacie - if you are due back here pack your thermals hun cos it's brass monkeys!

Now where's my tea and danish?
:>)

Spaceman - 13 Mar 2006 10:37 - 9687 of 24230

bunny at the airport now, however my flight isnt for another 7 hours ..... long story like the long wait !

Please have a nice hot plate of fish fingers ready for Midday tomorrow when I get back and a half bucket of trifle would be nice as well.

Luckily I am being picked up at Gatwick so I hope she will bring some warm stuff because I dont have any with me.

lambykins sends his best wishes to all and says that if the coffe house was in KL he would have been hung ! poor little fella good job he wasnt tempted to bring any samples.....

stockbunny - 13 Mar 2006 10:43 - 9688 of 24230

Will do Spacie :>)
tell Lambie I'll have a plate of best salad waiting for his return.
Just soak in the heat for 7 hours, you'll need it when you get back here!

Socrates - 13 Mar 2006 16:41 - 9689 of 24230

Hello all, a grey Cheltenham today, and tomorrow if the forecast is anything to go by, which it usually isn't.

Market looks good today, only one red on my stock list.

Bank shares should do well with Jeffers off duty (only kidding Jeffers).
