Socrates - 23 Mar 2006 20:11 - 9741 of 24230

So lonely, sob!

hilary - 24 Mar 2006 08:05 - 9742 of 24230

Never been a fan of either Sting or The Police.

Socrates - 24 Mar 2006 16:32 - 9750 of 24230

Hello all. I've seen the Police often, raiding the house down the road!

I'll have some of that trifle please Bunny.

Just seen one of my old shares that I sold at a reasonable (I thought) profit, would now have been giving me over 1000%. That's life. Bird in the hand and all that stuff.

optomistic - 24 Mar 2006 16:38 - 9751 of 24230

Evening Socco, be truly grateful you didn't get that 1000% gain.....It could have spoiled your life :-) Fog descended upon us here in Barnsley, don't think it would be foggy where you would have been now with the big gain.
Ah well there is always the trifle :-)

Socrates - 24 Mar 2006 16:44 - 9752 of 24230

Quite right Opto, there is always trifle, thank goodness. I would like to have at least one ten-bagger in my life, one a week would be nicer but I don't have time for the research.

Bright and sunny here at present, probably rain tomorrow.

Socrates - 25 Mar 2006 10:38 - 9753 of 24230

It's Saturday, allegedly, and not raining. Trolley race about to start, don't we just have an exciting time!

optomistic - 25 Mar 2006 10:53 - 9754 of 24230

Fog has gone and sunny here now Socco, good luck in the race.

Socrates - 25 Mar 2006 13:12 - 9755 of 24230

I lost Opto, but only 51 down on the day so it doesn't hurt too much.

Spaceman - 25 Mar 2006 18:44 - 9756 of 24230
