Encouraging AGM update. Not going to set the world alight, but a solid, well run business with sound prospects. Recent acquisition Finneran looking a good bolt on and profits should continue to be boosted over next 2/3 years by returns on the large contracts (exclusive of spare parts revenues which may be substantial once all equipment is commissioned). Another decent set of interim results yesterday, with pre tax profits up 8% on comparative period. Still making small losses in China, but situation said to be improving and overall performance imo remains encouraging. Always dyor.

PRV continues to deliver very solid performance. China sales increased 30% from low base, but still losing money there - more than made up for elsewhere. Strong cash generation and no net debt. It has been a decent one in the bottom drawer last ten years and happy to leave it there. Always dyor
