The legend dipped his toe in the other week. This came from the tipper of ASC, DTG. Watch very very carefully. Potential 80% easily.
Very undervalued, plenty of cash, eps forecasts put company on a p/e of 3.
Although badly run, it looks like there is light at the end of the tunnel. DYOR

There are suggestions that due to the London bombings that bike sales have increased... TND should benefit from this...

Skyhigh,
I agree that sales increase helps the bottom line and SP but in this case, I think it's something else. Maybe Legend can shed some light.

Legend,
I doubt the SP will go beyond 24p unless there's a takeover or MBO. TND does not have any exciting products to make waves, newsflow is generally poor and management team are not exactly in the financial spotlight. In essence, this company is not hot but financials are okay. One to tuck away and i think one day in the next millenium you will wake up and these will be 30p..
Good luck to all investors

Ramu,
That's great news. Only thing is I won't be around in the next millenium, unless medical science comes up with something special. Can't we hope for a rise a bit quicker?

Sorry guys... I've just sold my v. small holding of shares... got fed up with wtg..can't see this going anywhere.. it would've needed to shoot up 6 fold to get where I first stated with MV sports anyway... (this should be good news for all TND holders cos now I've sold the SP will go up !)
Good luck all... now looking for a new company to put my proceeds into ! may be BLR..

Skyhigh,
I can understand your frustration. I won't be surprised if Legend is the only one left holding TND!!!

I am still in these. situation not ideal i know with the sp. it seems to me that the management are trying to keep the sp down for whatever reason.
Have a look at the latest rns... Also 2 days ago there were 200k bought at 17p - this is 0.5% of company... you can't do that too many times without someone noticing!!! I think someone might well be trying to build up a stake.
With net assets of 22p, tnd have 2.5m in bank, company generating cash together with the value of the brands, these seem to be worth much more than the market value of 6m (current sp)
Also, company has 12m tax losses, so if you say raleigh (or another large bike firm) acquired them for 8-10m, then they would be able to use against the profit.
I am happy to hold and ride it out. There is lots of value in this co.... all imho of course.
keep smiling!!

Legend,
This is not going well. Are you still in? I'm tempted to cut my losses and look for a winner somewhere else. Anything in your radar?

Profitmaker,
I agree this is not going well but my losses are such I am hoping for takeover/mbo just to cut the losses and move on. This stock is illiquid and lack of newsflow and poor investor relations has caused the SP to drift. However, it has now stabilised around 11p and barring any unusual negative external factors, I cannot see this dropping any further. All IMHO.

Yes, still in these transco - can't believe it is nearly 2 years since someone post on here!!
Even though these have done disastrously since I bought, I have held out throughout and feel that one day over the next year or so that these will give me a return...
Based on fundamentals these seem cheap and the company seem more positive now.
I personally thought that the interims were spot on and traditionally this business makes more profit in the second half of the year.... so we shall look forward to see what the christmas period brings.
How many you got transco??
