Any news yet on, what I feel is an incorrect reporting of the % Yield on the Fundamentals section of the Quote page?

As I have previously mentioned you are only using Final Dividend to calculate the % Yield and ignoring the paying out of the Interim Dividend.

Thus LLOY is reported as only having a 5.98% Yield at a share price of £4.37, because you are only using the Final dividend of 23.5p for your calculation.

There is aslo an Interim Dividen payable of 11.2p, making 34.7p altogether and so for a share price of £4.37, this calculates out to give an actual % Yield of 7.94%.

You are saying 5.98%.

I think 7.94% is what you should be saying.

Quite a bit of error difference, dontchafink?

Exec,

This is being looked into and any news will be posted here when we have heard back from our supplier.

Might I be allowed to suggest you refuse to pay the bill - or at least ask for a substantial reduction?

;-)

I have just noticed some slowness in loading myself

Ian, your missus told me to write that slow loading of yourself is not the problem. Rather too rapid unloading might be though...............

Exec,

OK, we think we have the % yield issue cracked - we will be putting in a code change next week, which should resolve correct it.

Ian - Toplists appear to be time delayed again.

It seems to get fixed so they are live for a day, or two, and then something goes wrong and they become practically useless.

Can you have the techies look into it please.

dell,

The it is something that Alex is aware of - he is nearing the end of configuring the new data base machines which will cure this once and for all when they are in. Shouldn't be too long now,

Ian

Well done. Thank you.

:-)

dell314 - 10 Jan 2008 16:18 - 15 of 599

Ian - thanks.

On a different subject, I have to admit that I haven't read all the bumf on MIFID changes but are we likely to get trade type information back at some stage, as it's much harder to figure out what's going on since the changes, IMHO.

What a joke. Didn't even realise there was a problem until 4.31 when no auction orders appeared. God knows how long looking at wrong prices. These constant problems are getting ridiculous now.

kate bates - 10 Jan 2008 16:38 - 20 of 599

yes what a farce, fortunately was watching the stock i was trading on IG. This has become intolerable. No doubt problems will return in the morning for a fifth day running. Come on moneyam, we want to be on your side.

indushah - 10 Jan 2008 17:48 - 21 of 599

I share the last two sentiments - yes what a joke & farce. BTW Geoff, even when you said site back up now, couldn't view stockwatch. In any case market had closed by then. About time someone took proper responsibility & grip on this daily outages.
