na sdaq - 30 Jan 2011 07:15 - 242 of 859

I read on another BB that jms suspension was nothing to do with fundraising according to AB yesterday! Can someone confirm that either way.

Jupiter's announcement on 25 January was pretty clear as far as I'm concerned:-

Pursuant to listing Rule 17.1, Jupiter Mines Limited ('The Company') requests an immediate halt in the trading of the Company's securities pending the release of an announcement regarding a capital raising.

The Company requests that the trading halt end on the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Monday, 31st January 2011, or when the anticipated announcement referred to above is released to the market.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.

RED ROCK RESOURCES PLC

("Red Rock" or the "Company")

Announcement re Jupiter Mines Limited

Dated: 31 January 2011

Red Rock notes the announcement made by its 5.2% owned associate Jupiter Mines Limited (ASX:JMS) ("JMS") today, in which JMS announced an A$150m fundraising to advance its steel feed corporation strategy. A$100m will be used to develop Jupiter's 49.9% owned Tshipi Borwa ("Tshipi") project which is located in the Kalahari Manganese Field in South Africa and A$40m to fast-track the 100% owned Mt. Ida Manganese Magnetite Project ("Mt. Ida"), and the associated small Mt. Mason DSO Iron Project, located in the Central Yilgarn Region of Western Australia. The capital raised also provides some A$10m for JMS working capital purposes. Red Rock maintains a 1.5% gross production royalty in Mt. Ida. As a result of the fundraising, which is conditional in part upon the approval of JMS shareholders, Red Rock's interest in 83,734,165 JMS shares will be diluted to approximately 4.6% JMS's enlarged issued share capital.

The full text of the JMS announcement together with JMS's Quarterly Activities and Cash Flow reports, can be accessed viahttp://www.asx.com.au/asx/research/companyInfo.do?by=asxCode&asxCode=JMS.

Below is a post from mulledwine which might explain why mine and many aim stocks are performing like they are.:

For those who are not aware - not all sells in AIM just now are becuase PI's have no faith in a Company!

On 21 Jan 11, CMC Markets, one of the worlds leading online CFD providers and financial spread betting companies, has de-listed ALL AIM stocks and all AIM share bets that remain open will be closed out at the closing price on 11th February 2011.

This has been causing some excessive selling in many AIM listed stocks and is worth noting if any of your AIM stocks are being hit by an unexplained sell-off as it could last until 11 Feb 11.

martinl2 - 04 Feb 2011 10:02 - 249 of 859

Thanks gibby, but I guess most people will transfer / re-open their position with another provider?

martinl2 - 04 Feb 2011 10:18 - 250 of 859

And, people with short positions will also have to close, which will have the opposite effect.

Bit of a pain this slow decline, more like a neck rather than a back, again if I had the funds they would be going in here and RGM it cant be long now for the next leg UP 25p very soon IMO.

martinl2 - 10 Feb 2011 14:39 - 256 of 859

Yes, with the volume of significant newsflow expected in short order I think a sharp rise from here is a distinct possibility.

- Colombia 55% acquisition
- Colombia gold pour / first sale
- Migori drilling results
- Migori tailings metallurgy results / extraction plan
- Kansai cash
- Tasmania drilling results

All these items of news due in short-term.

martinl2 - 11 Feb 2011 11:08 - 257 of 859

Looking slightly more stable today..

gibby - 13 Feb 2011 21:33 - 258 of 859
