I think the term 'hugely speculative' is entirely appropriate for BPC.
Figures are being plucked out of thin air, without very much to support the argument.
Granted the CEO has the 'Midas' touch but that doesn't mean BPC will be a success.
All based on 2D seismic rather than 3D.
Oil gets washed up on the shore and that's used to support the argument of oil in them thar hills? Blimey, it could have come from anywhere.
One billion shares in issue and a Mkt Cap of 140m for five licenses in an area where no oil has been found?
SP risen ten fold in less than a year?
Having said all that, good luck to those who are taking the risk now, I guess it could pay huge dividends in a few years, but it's a company with nothing but licenses and 2D right now.

Difficult one to guess......have to say that this to me is the golden age for aim oil and mining stocks....and I think that a new golden age for tech stocks is perhaps just around the corner.....

Can't disagree with you there RF, but in the same manner as the dotcom boom, so many small outfits have stupid valuations, yet keep going up. Ride the wave and try to get off at the right moment, no point in sitting back, doing nothing, waiting for sense to prevail, cos it may never do so!

Sorry..but snese ?..the thing with the mining stocks is that China and India are desperate for raw materials....and mines with drilling evaluations going on can rise in value very rapidly.....

If I was a holder,(and I wish I was as was first aware of them in March, but didn't buy in, for simple reason it's all speculation) I'd be taking my profit now, that chart looks' bloody scary to me. I might be tempted when they get back to 7p.

I fear this might have run its course.....125 million plus based on what ?....not much....when it pulls back...it will be sharp...perhaps all the way back to 11 or 12p.....

Of course its wise to take profits I'm up 200% in a year but GS are predicting much bigger gains for those long term holders.
