3 monkies - 23 Mar 2012 08:28 - 3143 of 5221

Cheers Kim. No Balerboy a dam awful kidney infection a hundred times worse than cystitis. A little better today. Not like RRL so far.

Balerboy - 23 Mar 2012 08:36 - 3144 of 5221

Ah, sorry to hear that, flush out with some pre tax boose recommended.,.

3 monkies - 23 Mar 2012 08:42 - 3145 of 5221

Afraid it is flush out with copious amounts of water at the mo. Pre tax booze when it is cleared - G & T goes down generally easier than water but it has to be done, thanks for the advice. No hangovers for me for 7 days. Have a nice day.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 15:07 - 3146 of 5221

May go down another 5% Monday. Then we will be at the 12.5p. Institutions may buy then. Then I guess we will be driven up again. Im Only a public investor, who knows.
Range has enough assets now, stop the deals. Otherwise I will have grey hair as old age sets in and Range will still be at 12p. :-))

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 15:10 - 3147 of 5221

Clearly being driven down. I suppose the institutions are saying if they can have then at 12.5p so are we. With the buying today this would have been up 10% last week.

3 monkies - 23 Mar 2012 15:18 - 3148 of 5221

More buys than sells according to what I can see, if red is sell and blue is buy!!! Very cleverly done, every day for the last few days there have been more buys. Old age has set in for me DC so a few more grey hairs will mingle in but would like to see them move up as would we all. Is it next Thursday that the new shares will be in issue? Can't remember.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 15:24 - 3149 of 5221

I think its about then 3m. I think all the deals Pl stated have been done now. Just await the detail on them. Tangiers petroleum - He has not upped the 2million invested
there ?I suppose if the institutions buy at 12.5p we will see a lot of selling as in the past ? We are only second class passengers here 3m.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 15:31 - 3150 of 5221

There was an email flying about with PL stating he wants to get this company to 1 -
1.5 billion. What are we now 300 million odd . The TT will be huge on the deeper drills
and so will Colombia. Puntland - Get the feeling this will be well into April before we hear. . Atleast the games playing with this sp will be over then. Looks good for the future ie 12/18/24 months.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 15:47 - 3151 of 5221

3monkies - Admission of the shares on
AIM is expected to be Tuesday, 27 March 2012 with Range's shares on issue then
being 2,271,766,648.

YES 2 BILLION, TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY ONE MILLION , SEVEN HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX THOUSAND AND SIX HUNDRED AND FORTY EIGHT SHARES.

3 monkies - 23 Mar 2012 16:15 - 3152 of 5221

Blooming heck that be a lot of shares. Well hope to see it go up by June 2013 then I shall be 65 and no mortgage watch this space if they do!! - just have to live that long DC. Furry things have had a little bit of food and the mice have been going in the boxes so looks like 2 jobs getting done at once. They will be back to check again next week.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 16:29 - 3153 of 5221

All sounds good 3monkies. Youve got another 40 years+ 3m. :-))have a Good weekend.

dreamcatcher - 23 Mar 2012 16:31 - 3154 of 5221

Down she goes, like the titanic.

3 monkies - 23 Mar 2012 16:56 - 3155 of 5221

Nothing more than we expected (probably hit 12p) Monday. Good weekend to you to.

Alex g on ll

Two weeks ago we had 5 x 1 million on the bid at close of play starting with an average of 10.5p, with the effect of reducing the VWAP, then we get a placement of 12.5p based on the VWAP over the previous two weeks or so. PL has said there are more major world class investment funds wishing to make funds available to Range. (What the hell is he saying to them) Today we have the VWAP reduced by 5m on the bid again with an average 12.25p.

If an II knows that in a few weeks he will pay the average VWAP, it makes sense they would manipulate the VWAP down using spoof orders on the bid.

With 3 to 4 weeks until we expect the results it makes sense to get these guys on-board. So yes I'm expecting more fund raising. The question is what is all the money for ?

Getting a 100% off-shore license 10,500 sq Km. is quite amazing considering PL stated catagorically the opposite on a video just after we purchased Trinidad. He said, (not verbatum) Range has no experience with off-shore, and will not be getting involved. So here we are.

PL has also said, The Puntland licences will be proved up and sold on. In fact he's been saying that since 2006. We all know that since 2006 Range and AOI have surveyed the route for laying a pipeline from Nugaal to Bossaso, we know there are plans for an oil off-take pontoon to load the tankers, and recent pictures of Bossaso showing oil storage tanks in place. Plans are also rumoured that Puntland will build a small bore pipeline to begin with.

We also know Somalia want, no desperately need the oil out of the ground ASAP. So if they have to use road tankers I think they will.

Now ask, what is the further capitol raising for ?

Yes Colombia , just a deposit for now. I am expecting PL to turn and do the opposite over Puntland, lay a pipeline and start producing oil from the very first commercial strike. I am also expecting him to carry on drilling continuously adding production wells, the rigs to multiply and make Somalia the fastest growing oil state in the world.

President Farrol, Peter Landau and Keith Hill sure as hell have a masterplan that is working now, I am not surprised Farrol has got an extra year extension to his Presidency, another two years of this incredable story that no Somalian should want to upset.

Just my take.

Nugaal Valley Traditional Elders Rally Behind Puntland State
At yesterday’s dinner in at the presidential compound in Garowe, hosted by Puntland leader Abdirahman Faroole, Somali elders representing the disputed Sool Province and surrounding districts in Somalia’s northwest denounced both secessionist movements in the region as well as a recently-formed militia known as ‘Khatumo’ which seeks to challenge the authority of Puntland. The elders expressed full support for President Faroole and the administration in Garowe.

The chief speakers at the event representing the troubled regions claimed by Puntland were Sultan (Elder) Said Osman of Buhodle, a district of Togdheer Province, Garaad (Elder) Abshir Salah of Widhwidh, a village within Buhodle District, and Boqor (Elder) Abdullahi Ahmed Dabagoye of Bo’ame, a district of Sool Province near Puntland’s capital Garowe. Together, the men represent the bulk of the western half of the highly-prospective Nugaal Valley.

This support, and the dinner during which it was announced, is part of a growing trend of negotiations and rallying by Puntland leader Abdirahman Faroole towards securing massive potential oil fields in the wider region.

Thanks to ARichmond64 on ii

Guys I found this email on some other board, he talks alot about the offshore thing.
Its an interesting read.

For what its worth - my frank email exchanges with PL today

Humble request, please do not post this elsewhere. (Someone did post it elsewhere, so might aswell)

Peter,

See below, you said back in Jan that red emp would not be involved and
yet 2 months down the line red emp are being offered a way in.

I never thought I would say this but, how do you expect any sole range
holder to take you say seriously. By continually involving RMP and I
am not exactly sure why you continue to do so. Can you please explain
what clout or expertise RMP brings to the table?

Indeed, why should anyone now hold range when you can better rewards
with RMP it seems.

PL reply:

Francis - I would have thought you could read more into the opaque
nature of the reference - no % , no terms - how are they involved - if
they want to farm in on terms better than other jv partners why
wouldn't we take their money (would never do offshore alone) - don't
see how RMP is rewarded before a deal is cut and cant help you if you
think trin, texas and Colombia (now all fully funded) are all duds

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Peter,

"It is Ranges intention to offer a participation interest to its joint
venture partner, Red Emperor Resources NL (ASX:RMP) on terms to be
agreed"

Please explain why the reference to RMP in the RNS. It adds no benefit
to Range whatsoever because RMP has no expertise or clout in these
matters.

Fine you could do that privately, which I am sure you do that with
other potential partners or interested parties. Will you mention them
too?

My point is that why is RMP tagging along? What do they bring to the
table? We both know, neither Range and nor RMP are going to do
offshore on their own. Protecting share holder value would be if you
held on 100% interest and then brought in one of the majors to come
and drill. They would get the majority share and yet we hold a decent
amount for ourselves. But in what you announced today, a big oilie
will come in but for some inexplicable reason, RMP will be tagged
along too thereby diluting our share to accommodate RMP. How on earth
is that in my interest as a Range share holder that RMP is brought
along which is inherently a better opportunity (owing to lower mcap
and fewer shares in issue) for the same prospect. This to me just does
not make sense. I understand why you did it the first time round, but
there are no excuses for it this time.

It seems more and more that RMP is our HORN except that range
shareholder gain NO benefit whatsoever from RMP. Infact, it causes
harm to RRL with people switching investments over to RMP. If you are
not sure then look at the rise of both range and rmp recently.

Colombia is years away from getting us anything, TT just does not seem
to be getting out of 1st gear and Texas has saved our bacon with
regards to our non puntland assets. I am not even going to mention
Georgia as that has proven to be a dog. Why hire the same people to do
the siesmics when they got it so horribly wrong the first time is
beyond me. This is why puntland is still so crucial for us.

As holders of Range, please do not take us for mugs, we know the games
that are being played and its about time you start focusing on
shareholder value for Range and not RMP. Once you lose credibility,
its hard to get it back and I am afraid you are beginning to tred in
that territory in my eyes and I say that as a person who was quite a
staunch supporter of you.

Kind Regards,

Francis

PL reply:

Francis – lets be very clear on 2 points

- RMP was mentioned because if we have a discovery on shabeel
they will be in a position to pay far more for participation in off
shore than anyone else (they almost have to) – it is a massive benefit
for range when farming out its 100% and for the life of me I cannot
work out how you can suggest RMP have benefitted when no deal is done

- more importantly lets look at your sentence

Colombia is years away from getting us anything (straight out wrong
but can only show you this when we release the full detail) , TT just
does not seem to be getting out of 1st gear (because petrotrin have
handcuffed us with timing of announcements and rolling out drilling
program has suffered teething problems – flow rates there just initial
delays) that can change very quickly with the next 2 6500 ft wells we
are drilling and an agreed program with petrotrin which allows to
release at least one a month) – no argument its slow to get of the
blocks but like puntland – once it gets momentum it will move - Texas
has saved our bacon with regards to our non puntland assets
(disagree). I am not even going to mention Georgia as that has proven
to be a dog. Why hire the same people to do the siesmics (the shooting
of the seismic wasnt the problem – it was arguably the interpretation
and we have got rid of the 2 main original consultants and replaced
them with 2 new groups who are proving far more valuable) when they
got it so horribly wrong the first time is beyond me. This is why
puntland is still so crucial for us (disagree and the fact that 3
major long only oil and gas funds are prepared to back us pre puntland
td supports the strength of texas, trin and Colombia irrespective of
puntland result) .

Your focus on RMP value just astonishes me – we didn’t farm down to
RMP _ we assisted in finding a group for AOC to farm down after they
asked us to assist – we weren’t part of the negotiations – if you
think puntland is where it is all at you should be piling into HORN
based on our pure logic and common sense – Georgian farm out seems to
have been a good idea to date and there is no offshore deal at this
point in time - always happy to respond

Cheers p
