Oxus Gold plc is a UK based international mining group with gold mining interests in Central Asia. Oxus is the joint owner (50/50) with the government of Uzbekistan of Amantaytau Goldfields (AGF) which is developing several mining operations in the Tien Shan gold belt near Zarafshan.

Well I'm pleased to hear that you, at least, have been behaving yourself :)
Where are you off to, anyway? - I've just been looking at the SOLA thread (only because it's great for me to learn from you and pt, with all your pretty graphs).

I've looked at that, too thanks.
Enjoy your shop - try to spend only those gains that you've already made, not the ones that are yet to come!!

ah, thereby hangs a tale ...... had some shares bought through an EIS Scheme back in 2000 ...... thought they were worth bugger all, when suddenly a very tasty bid came through for the company ...... a very happy bunny indeed!

Did not have the courage to buy these again and have missed out on a near 30% rise in one day, having bought these @15 some time ago and sold ,have to say this was my best performing share and recouped my losses on all the other dogs i have purchased in the past!.
good luck to all holders.

I came out of this one in january at .40pence per share. I did quite well out of this share.

hello Smiler - am buying back in quite strongly.... there was no good reason for this extreme drop..... there was one large seller, however, which created a wobble but RAB have added and they certainly wont be going anywhere. This will be back to mid 50s-60s and expecting good news to push further up.

does one really set store by RAB's antics having seen their badly timed buying of NRK?
as for buying OXS at all, it looks to me very much like catrching the falling knife ...... just occasionally you get the handle, but there are much better plays for gold ..... both CEY and POG come to mind or even HMB

True cynic - i am a fan of most things RAB and think they may have got it wrong with NRK (ie getting in too early...) but remember existing shareholders in NRK will be offered shares at a heavily discounted rate..... it may just prove that RAB will have the last laugh? Judging by their track record, i'll put my money on RAB... Re oxus, i don't think the fundamentals have changed have thay? I think the large seller combined with the awful jitters in the market in the last few weeks hit a fundamentally sound company.... not meaning to ramp, just my thoughts!

Yes very true ajcc RAB will have the last laugh not only do they make sound investments they are well respected in the city. As for Oxus double your money on a sound company NEWS PENDING TRUST ME

ajcc .... i agree the fundamentals with OXS have not changed .... that is why my opinion hasn't either!
as for NRK, that looks as though it will take several more months to unravel, and that could be a very apt verb!
RAB have cocked it up big time and it would be very interesting to know the average price they have paid ...... bet it will be far too much even if finally averaged out
flasher ...... why on earth would i trust you?
