IND is 20% up today on some chunky purchases by directors, including Hamish Grossart who is a smart operator. Shares have not been doing anything for some months now after a big spurt last spring.
Does anyone have any info about this company? I only know that it is a software company and historically has made enormous losses. So is it in a turnaround situation and about to break even? Which software sector is it in?

I also have some, but for sure that is no endorsement to follow suit ...... as i mentioned a couple of days ago, this stock is very illiquid with very wide spread ..... it follows that movements down as well as up can be very violent and unforeseen

Looks as though the market is realising the potential of IND.
Very illiquid share for sure but on days like this ......................

The eps forecasts from some of the more reliable BB posters on other boards vary from 34p to 50p for y/e 2007 and into orbit for y/e 2008.
These are guys who got it pretty much spot on for this year when they made their forecasts quite a while ago so I have confidence in their analytical skills in following this Company.
Of course things may go awry in the way of increased competition but even if the most conservative estimates are attained then the current share price, despite today's rise, looks very attractive indeed.
So much so that I have bought more at 555p !!!!!!

shame i can't find the last copy of Quantum Leap ..... would have liked to see when and at what price they recommended and their opinion now - i.e. before the figures came out .... would not be surprised if they get a further mention in the next issue

Savoy-Fusebox-etc.
See your still trying hard to convince us of the error of our ways, but the figures always seem to be ahead of your rantings.
Why not just buy a few and join the sensible people.
Go on you know I`m right.
Cheers.
porky,
Firstly I am not fusebox as you well know although I realise that's what you might want others to believe. Secondly I do not know what the error of your ways are. I do know an overpriced share when I see one though. We are all adults here so lets talk like adults. We both know this share would not be the price it is if it wasn't for the support of a well known holder and we also know that when this well known holder is 'done' with this share it will fall back substantially as all his shares do when he has finished with them.
His challenge, and he is doing a very good job at the moment, is not only to exaggerate the company's worth but publicly convince holders he will be supporting the share for a long time while exiting.
Now do tell us about the error of your ways. Do you masturbate in public? LOL

Porky ..... I don't especially take issue with your view, even though i hold IND ..... however, as i mentioned earlier, being such a new company, it is almost imposible to apply the usual yardsticks ..... so, whether or not this share is overvalued as you reckon, or more likley to continue its upward path is perhaps more conjectural than usual.
However, if you look at the chart i have just put in, sp has surged through the steadily rising 200 dma, and on that basis with the clear upward momentum, i would disagree with your prognosis.

cynic .... you are talking bollocks yet again! ...... This isn't a new company at all, though it would seem to be the first time it has broken into profit for the whole year!
For all that, I still hold that the share is not overvalued, or more prosaically, it has strong upward momentum behind it, which tends to self-fulfil.
The CEO's bullish trading comment gives added confidence for he would not have made it if, 2 months down the line when the figures are formalised, he was found to have fallen short ....... "We expect rapid growth to continue in the first half of the current year and are confident for the year as a whole ....."

lest anyone should be interested, i banked my profit this morning (580) as volumes are so low that it will not take much boredom by holders to see the price tumble whether really warranted or not

You either believe in the long term success of the company or you move on.
Simple as that really.
I should remove it from your watch list, as you are likely to be disappointed on the upside.
Good to take a profit though.
Cheers.

porky .... it was a very nice profit thank you and no one ever went bust taking one ..... nevertheless i shall keep my eye on the stock as if Wall Street sneezes much harder, then there could well be (likely to be) a similar knock-on in London ..... then buying opportunity of one has the funds to hand

IndigoVsion Group plc
AGM Trading Update
The following statement is being made by the Chairman of IndigoVision at the
Annual General Meeting scheduled for 10:30 am today:
'Following good growth last year, trading has continued to be strong since the
year end with markets continuing to develop, and last year's rate of growth
continuing into the first quarter.
Sales for the first three months of the current financial year are around double
that of the corresponding period last year. Margins have continued to be robust
although a little below last year's levels, and better than anticipated given
the much greater sales volume. Overheads have also risen as the rate of
increase in sales and marketing expenditure has been stepped up to make sure
that IndigoVision takes maximum advantage of the opportunity before it. The
continuing market shift from analogue to internet protocol video augurs well for
the remainder of the year, and the Board remains confident that substantial
sales growth will be achieved this year, with a concomitant improvement in
operating performance.'

thanks for waking me up Ian .... had forgotten all about this little gem ...... certainly has rocketed but on very low volume ..... great care and watchfulness required with this stock as it is very illiquid.
have updated the chart above ..... should be good support at 640, at least for the time being until 25 and 50 dma diverge
