Darwin unrisked is 1100p a share, so half that and a bit more, so say 400% or 500% rise possible if the news is top line good, over the coming weeks.

Its only risen the same amount RKH rose before the RNS come out........nothing yet if the news is officially good.

Now the rumours will start to fly !......108p close.....

Numis have a 1700p value for Darwin if BOR were fully funded and no risk etc...

So 1100p from Mirabaud in the present state of BOR I think is fair.

Given the next drill, Stebbing, is even bigger potential at 1.2 Billion recoverable barrels - one would like to think if Darwin has delivered a fat column of oil that BOR might, in the coming weeks, hit anything up to 400p a share.

Do not forget, farm in news for FOGL also due - and an oil find derisks multiple other prospects for BOR and FOGL.


Exciting times, BOR has only risen the same amount RKH did BEFORE the Sea Lion RNS come out.

Lets hope BOR now also rises just like RKH did after their RNS.

Falklands phwoar

HOPES of more black gold being discovered off the Falklands sent shares in an oil minnow soaring 55 per cent last night.

BORDERS & SOUTHERN was forced to play down talk it had made a strike south of the islands — as excited investors piled in.

But a spokesman refused to rule out success at the company’s “Darwin” field. Sources in the Falklands claimed the company HAD made a bumper discovery but was currently evaluating its size and scale.

A crew change on Borders’ rig two days ago is thought to have seen workers returning to Port Stanley fuelling rumours that have been fizzing around the internet.

One analyst conceded amid the confusion: “I guess it’s just speculation as to a positive result.” Borders’ share price soared 38.50p to 108. FALKLANDS OIL & GAS, which has interests close to the Borders field, climbed 24.25p to 93.

...........Broker Panmure Gordon has forecast that should Borders & Southern announce a large oil discovery at its Darwin prospect in the Falkland Islands its share price could rocket to 435p, while other industry experts suggested £5 a share would be a possibility............

The important thing for share holders is the share price as shot up giving them the chance of banking big profits and still having the chance of a 4 bagger

The problem is that greed takes over from sensible decisions.....haven't sold any yet and what bothers me is that I cannot watch the sp all the time for the next week....

and have just followed my own advice and sold 50% at 113 for a very respectable profit for <24 hours holding and bought into fogl at 96.75 (now only about 88)
