Energy Technique - Will this be one of the next growth stock. (ETQ)

Legins - 02 Sep 2003 17:45

Could ETQ's share price be soon to benefit from their developments with the new UVGI Nightingale Mobile Air Filtration Product.

New UVGI air filtration product

In November 2002, the ETQ announced its new Nightingale UVGI air filtration product, to be produced by a new joint-venture company, UVGI Systems Limited, owned 55% by the Group and 45% by Suvair Limited. This rapid response mobile air filtration unit is capable of killing the MRSA super bug and other airborne pathogens.

The UVGI unit has widespread application where there is need to keep
air free of dangerous live bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores, including
hospitals, schools, cruise liners, aircraft, food processing, and military
applications.

The UVGI unit uses a high intensity Ultra Violet Germicidal Irradiation ('UVGI')
filter, which has been designed to control harmful and dangerous airborne
pathogens, such as Anthrax, Tuberculosis, and Staphylococcus aureus, the
causative agent in MRSA. The filtration system is combined with use of high
intensity Ultra Violet light, which inactivates micro organisms by disrupting
their DNA structure.

Tests of a prototype at the Defence Science Technology Laboratory ('Dstl') at
Porton Down, the centre for excellence for the Ministry of Defence, showed that
the UVGI unit captured and/or destroyed more than 99.9% of Bacillus subtilis
spores, a simulant for Anthrax bacteria.

Since November, second generation units have been developed, which will go on
applications testing at an NHS Trust Hospital in December 2003, following
building completion of its new haematology unit. It is also anticipated the
UVGI unit will shortly go on laboratory testing in the United States with
contractors nominated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Concern seems to be hotting up on the T.V. news that the MRSA super bug is still killing and disabling people visiting or as patients in NH Trust hospitals. It would be surprising if NH Trust hospital do not notice and Buy this product before they get to many expensive law suits for compensation claims.

Definitely a stock that could soon be heading north. Worth buying in but DYOR

Level 2 closed at 2 v 2. I think WINS orchestrated the drop as T10 traders which I have highlighted about previously had to close their positions today. It was all buying until the afternoon and a large buy for around 147,000 shares also came through at 6.74 pence. WINS offered 6.00 pence to a seller of 100K shares and the offer moved to 6.75 pence. I think WINS did this to get the sellers out as sellers which they may have expected today weren't coming. Immediately, WINS moved back onto the 6.25 pence bid to collect all the stock that came from the sellers, not that there was much. In line with my previous posts at these prices again there were few miniscule sells even with these actions. Level 2 actually went positive at that point to 2 v 1 but the sells were still not coming and hence I think EVO moved onto the offer of 6.75 pence and after that Level 2 was 2 v 2. Though not even one sell came through thereafter after the last small sell at 4.10pm. Trades at 6.45 for 35K, 30 K at 6.49 pence were buys. In addition, WINS & MLSB have been filling the large buys over the last week and not suprisingly both them are on the bid taking in stock.

Mystified....one just has to look at how all the large buys have come through over the last week and the size of the sells.

We last saw similar actions in the last hour prior to the buy note that came out from Evolution Beeson Gregory and day before when the NHS RNS was released.

I am holding onto all of mine, the NHS presentation is less than 2 weeks away now.

Investtech Analysis after today's close :

Positive Candidate (Short term) - Aug 19, 2004
Has broken through the floor of a rising trend channel. This indicates a slower rising rate at first, or the start of a more horizontal development. The stock has support at p 5.10 and resistance at p 7.00. Volume tops and volume bottoms correspond well with tops and bottoms in the price. This weakens the trend break. The stock is overall assessed as technically positive for the short term.

Neutral (Medium term) - Aug 19, 2004
Is within a falling trend. Continued negative development within the trend channel is indicated. The stock has resistance at p 8.70. The RSI curve shows a rising trend, which is an early signal for a possible trend break up. The stock is overall assessed as technically neutral for the medium long term.

------------The RSI curve shows a rising trend, which is an early signal for a possible trend break up. This bit is new and has appeared after today's close

Weak Positive Candidate (Long term) - Aug 19, 2004
ENERGY TECH. ORD 1P does not show any clear trend. Has met the objective at 12.66 after a break of a inverse head and shoulders formation. The price has now fallen, but the formation indicates further rise. The stock is testing the resistance at p 6.80. This should give a negative reaction, but an upward breakthough of p 6.80 means a positive signal. Volume tops and volume bottoms correspond well with tops and bottoms in the price. Volume balance is also positive, which strengthens the stock. Trading volume has increased substantially lately. This shows there is an increased interest for the stock, possibly because of fundamental news. The stock is overall assessed as technically slightly positive for the long term.

----------- but an upward breakthough of p 6.80 means a positive signal. This bit is new as well after today's close.

Dil - 20 Aug 2004 00:47 - 385 of 497

Cos she lies and avoids answering any direct questions in my experience gf so fair game as far as I'm concerned gf.

My turn now , why are you always defending her when you know the above statement to be true ?

Have a good day , catch you in morning.

goldfinger - 20 Aug 2004 01:02 - 386 of 497

What a load of tripe Dil, pretty sad.

More large buys : Large buy for 154,000 shares has just come through from an hour ago at 6.45 pence. WINS moved back onto the bid after that. Level 2 at 2 v 2.

goldfinger - 20 Aug 2004 10:36 - 395 of 497

Dil come on please be more positive. All you seem to do these days is be a board critic.

I remember a few years back on the competitors premium board where you gave some cracking tips. As the skill deserted you? I dont think so.

cheers GF.

SueHelen - 20 Aug 2004 10:53 - 396 of 497

Dil - Squelch.

Hi Woodie, Level 2 is positive again at 2 v 1, though the spread is tight at 6.25-6.35 pence. Trades at 6.35 pence are buys. I think this activity relates to my post the other day when I mentioned that MLSB has stayed open until 5.15pm and the following morning all the MMs had changed their quotes with WINS and MLSB who have been filling the larger buys on the bid. Level 2 is positive at 2 v 1 with EVO on the offer, who could be supplying stock to WINS & MLSB to fill the larger buys. With level 2 at 2 v 1, the next tick will be up but I don't know when rather than a tick down.

SueHelen - 20 Aug 2004 11:50 - 397 of 497

Level 2 is positive at 2 v 1

Online (Comdirect):

Can sell 100,000 shares at 6.28 pence

Can buy 160,000 shares at 6.35 pence.

WOODIE - 20 Aug 2004 14:22 - 398 of 497

sh thanks for early post why the tight spread,is it because of low vol in stock?cheers woodie

SueHelen - 20 Aug 2004 14:49 - 399 of 497

Hi Woodie, i've not really got an idea but the larger buys keep coming in.

Another large buy reported for 150,000 shares at 6.35 pence. Third 150K buy in the last 24 hours.

Followed by a 100,000 buy at 6.35 pence. The 50K trade eaaier at 6.35 pence is also a buy.

SueHelen - 20 Aug 2004 15:10 - 400 of 497

And there we go, gone blue with 7.00 pence on the offer.
